Ximena's Tacos , Mexican Food - Mexican restaurant in Auburndale - 303 Main St, USA

Visited Auburndale for the flea market and decided to look for a place to eat. Lots of the Mexican food locations are food trucks, meaning you'll be eating probably outside on a bench or in your car. So the fact this location has indoor seating was a good first thing. Once we got there we noticed there was a lot of people picking up orders. We were greeted and found our seats in the dining room. Customer service is excellent the servers help each other out and bring out the food pretty quick and just keep tabs on everything. We loved the food! My chilaquiles were the best I've had in the 10 years I've lived in florida. Will definitely drive an hour for this restaurant very worth it. Prices reasonable for the amount of food you get.

As a Mexican, I 100% would recommend this place. Authentic food, amazing flavors, very friendly staff. They have something for everyone on the menu. I got the enchiladas rojas, a sope, as well as a torta and tacos. I will definitely be coming back for more.

This is our go to spot when we want to feel at home. My husband and I are both Latinos and this is the only place we really enjoy. Their tacos are 10/10, love getting the salsa and chips when seated and the staff here are so kind and friendly. We love Ximenas!

Small local establishment with friendly staff and greay tasting chicken enchiladas. It is not allowed to serve alcohol because it is close to a church (across the street) so if you need an alcoholic drink to enjoy your meal, you will be better off going elsewhere.

Great food. I had the enchiladas with red and green sauce and was not let down. Service was fast. Drink selection was not very good but that was perfectly fine for a quick lunch. I will definitely go back.

This particular restaurant is located not too far from where I was staying, I read the reviews so I thought I would give it a try. It was Taco Tuesday so all I could review were the three tacos, steak, chicken and pulled pork. I opted for the hard shell. They make all their shells in house which is not a fan favorite of mine. I like a light corn tortilla, lightly fried, where there's is her more darker being deep fried longer, so more on the greasy side for me. It's a cute place. Nice location. The staff is friendly. The restaurant itself is looking a little tired. It could certainly use a fresh paint job and the floors could be kept a little cleaner. But based on just my three tacos alone and they only serve soft drinks and water. No wine or alcohol, I think this is not on my high priority list to return anytime soon. Soon. But the location is nice. And again, just based on my order that was what my review is based on.

Literally the best food I have ever had. My coworkers and I would go everyday. The Gringas are absolutely amazing. The waiters and servers are so sweet and nice, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere about it. I have moved away, and i miss this place everyday around lunch time.
