Wyndham Palm-Aire - Featured Reviews (3401)
This is a very large resort with lots and lots of activities for the kids. The activities and pool areas are great except they need some maintenance and upkeep done. Our room was in what seemed like the older building so maybe that skews the view of the whole place. It was definitely large and comfortable and fairly clean but had a few oddities like smells and grungy feeling carpet floors etc.
The basketball court and tennis court are fine as well as walking trails around local ponds that all feel pretty safe and secluded. The workout room was large and had lots of good equipment but again needed some maintenance and cleaning.
Definitely a timeshare and they play the whole game of saying your room's not ready while they try and book you into a sales presentation until suddenly your room becomes available.
Overall it's a hard review because there are pieces that are very nice. Nice furniture, comfortable beds, lots of activities. Other parts are just so shoddy and surprisingly pathetic. General maintenance, smells, trash. There are enough nice places around the resort to make a nice sales pitch, but the deeper you get into it the more it fails to meet expectations.
We were only there for a short time and never got service - we had the do not disturb placard up.
The hotel itself is breathtaking inside. The fit and finish of the furnishings and finishes are all top notch. The carpet is soft and clean. The countertops and wood are all scratch free and well maintained. The fridge and other appliances looked like new.
The outdoor patio furniture was in great shape. They had an outdoor fire table which was super nice (except that it’s the designated smoking area in property).
They have activities planned for every day. Crafts, yoga, movie night etc. Super fun for families and couples alike. It is very close to a casino which we didn’t make it to but you literally could walk there.
Overall I am very impressed with the property itself.
The staff was overwhelmingly pleasant and accommodating. Everyone engaged in conversation if prompted and went out of their way to help when needed. I’m not sure I’ve had a better experience with lodging staff.
Overall 5 stars for sure. I’d love to stay here again.
We had a great stay at this facility. Very good activities offered. The pools and fitness center were excellent. The room was amazing - large, clean, and with a nice view of the pool. The hotel is landlocked so you have to drive everywhere.||||The salespeople, though, are deceptive. To go through a sales pitch, they offer you a free bonus gift for 90 minutes of your time. Pretty routine, right? These guys, however, mislead you and say that since Wyndham purchased RCI, all owners need to upgrade our RCI account so that the RCI fees get lowered. This is not the case at all, I called RCI to look into it, and they just want you to transfer to their system all together. How deceiving! It left a very negative impression in my mind.
We made reservations on 2 Bedroom unit and upon check-in we were told that only available room they had was only studio and they will make something available next morning which we agreed to. The front desk person told us that manager will come at 9 AM. When we checkin to studio the bed was a double bed and the security person who was sent to give us different room he start arguing with us about the size of bed by showing the fitted sheet size and finally when we moved to new room he again told us that the bed size is still the same as previous room.
Next morning when we went to front desk to see manager we came to know that manager does not come before 11 AM. So we came back at 11 and things got sorted out and we were promised to refund all or points which will reflect in 5-7 days.
Also at VIP desk I reluctantly scheduled a call with sales team which I cancelled with in an hour but I never got the refund of $40 which they ask guests.
I can defiently see there is room for great improvements in their staff.
This is hard to rate without fully explaining the situation. ||||First, the GOOD: Property was immaculate. Maintenance staff, Housekeeping staff, Front Desk (non-sales) staff. All of those employees were fantastic, happy, and great to interact with. Different buildings were just renovated and they're fabulous. Location was fine, easy enough to get to the beach in 10-15 minutes.||||Now, the BAD/UNACCEPTABLE: The hard sell from the "concierge" (actually timeshare sales staff) was beyond ridiculous. Upon check-in with the front desk, and doing all the necessary tasks (credit card for incidentals, check out date, car parking pass, etc.) we were sent to the concierge desk to pick-up our room keys. Here is where we were held hostage for an hour getting the hard-hard-hard sell for timeshare. Even though we already are owners at another property, and made it quite clear we weren't going to even contemplate buying-selling-trading another, we had to get passed around between that staff to "complete" our registration. After finally agreeing to attend the 90-minute presentation the next morning, we were able to get our room keys and get away.||||And it CONTINUES: After getting into our room (which, again, was wonderful) we left a message that we would NOT be attending in the morning. Come morning we received 2 text messages encouraging us to attend. The audacity of one message stating "...since you're already awake..." was unbelievable. These were followed by 2 phone calls also reminding us to attend. Then, 2 days later (day 3 of stay) we found a door tag on the door stating that we had been signed up for a presentation the following morning (day 4). ||||No means NO. We like our timeshare. We like being able to bank and use our points for other vacations. But getting this kind of arm-twisting, hostage taking, is beyond arrogant and really leaves a lasting, bad memory. ||||The property was good, the (non-timeshare) staff was great, the amenities were wonderful. Too bad the trip was ruined by the above story. We understand the biz model, timeshares are not for everyone. Respect your customers, even the ones there for just a family get-away.||||Summary rating:||Non-timeshare parts (what really matters): 5, excellent||Sales push: 0, terrible minus||||equals an overall 2, poor
Room was large, clean and comfortable. Location is convenient, there are many local places to check out for dining and entertainment. This was our first time in the area, and we will definitely be back!
The pictures make this place look amazing but reality doesnt live up to it. The pools barely get sun and only later in the day. The water pressure in the shower was beyond awful. The shuttle to the beach was out of order so its a $25 uber there and back. I'd never stay here again - its too far away from anything youd want to do in the area. Very hard timeshare sell - girl didnt want to release our room keys until we said yes to a presentation.
Excellent staff. Very impressed how clean & sanitary the rooms were. Has 2 swim pools, 2 Jacuzzis, water slide for kids. Mini golf, beach style volleyball area, ping ping. Yard activities. On site snack shop and a bar.

Dog friendly. Really nice rooms. Full size fridge. Had a great stay. Be aware that parking is in the public garage next to the hotel. It costs less to add the cost into your stay instead of paying the parking directly. Short walk to the beach and pie
The team of coaches here are phenomenal. They are super friendly, know their training program well, and help you to execute it. I recently worked with Henry and Travis and I feel as though l have known them for years. They are awesome and will help y
