Wyndham Garden at Niagara Falls - Hotel in Niagara Falls - 443 Main St, USA

My man surprised me with a trip to Niagara Falls. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. This hotel is in need of major updates and repairs. The carpet is old and it stinks. This is suppose to be a non smoking establishment but it smelled like smoke, dirt. Our room had flies and mosquitoes 🦟 in it. We were giving a handicap room which is dis heartening because I hope we didn’t take a room that someone else needed. The elevator shakes when you are on it and it slightly jumped when it stopped to the requested floor. Luckily we were on the 1st floor. Everything in this room was low, the towel racks, the sink and the shower had a handicap chair in it. The bed was on the floor didn’t have a box spring. I’m 5’6 and my man is 6’3. He was PISSED!!!! My baby didn’t read the reviews as some men don’t. He went by pictures that are listed on the site and gave him a false expectation. I appreciate his effort but I don’t like the fact he spent 3 hundred PLUS dollars of his HARD earned money for this place. We left at 5 in the morning because we were over it. (We stayed over night not even 24 hours) and instead of being checked out we were told to leave the room card on the front desk. I don’t care if it’s 5 in the morning we should have been asked how our stay was. This place sucks and you will NEVER receive a dime from us again. Do yourself a favor don’t waste your time nor money at this trader trash establishment. I WANT MY MAN TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND.

Stayed here for a night so I could do Niagara Falls State Park before crossing into Canada for the rest of my vacation. The hotel is just fine. The rooms and hallways are a bit worn, but it didn't feel run-down. For an area with high traffic, this is to be expected. Definitely on-par with a Courtyard by Marriott. A word of caution when checking in online: If you provide your credit card on their online check in system, your $75 hold for incidentals will be added onto the charge you receive when you actually check in with the front desk. You will also receive a separate $75 hold at this time. Fortunately, I was able to resolve this when the front desk explained to me that this system is relatively new, and the two holds would be refunded after a few days. This was the case upon checking my statement after my trip. For this reason, don't follow the link Wyndam sends you via text or email to check in and "save time". It's easier to just save everything until you actually get to the hotel itself. The location of the hotel is the absolute kicker - it is right across from the Rainbow Bridge to Canada and within walking distance to the state park. It's exactly where I needed to be to maximize time at the falls and beyond.

I had a two night stay at the Wyndham Garden in Niagara Falls. We arrived at 3 am our first night so we did not get to see much of the area. The toilet seat in our room had a large crack which had been taped, I reported it twice to the front desk. The caulking in the shower was peeling, and the trim in the bathroom looked dirty. The toilet paper roll was halfway gone in the bathroom, I’m not sure if they’re supposed to change the roll between guests. The pool also leaves much to me desired, it is definitely in need of repair. The room looked clean, but when my kids walked on the floor without shoes their feet became dirty. The staff was nice and when I called for towels or toilet paper, they did arrive promptly. The towels were given to us in the laundry bag. We had forgotten our toothbrushes and the staff was kind enough to give us complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. We did decide to look for a pharmacy the next day in order to buy real toothbrushes, and that is when we saw how rundown the city of Niagara Falls is. I decided to look up crime stats and it certainly is not a safe area. I would say stay on the Canada side if you want to see the falls.

They have a Starbucks. The breakfast wasn’t that great. They advertise a bar and lunch and dinner at what they call a restaurant, but wasn’t open the first day we were there. The bar tender told us they would be open the next day. We asked how late the bar was open and she said probably only about an hour due to no customers. The next morning we asked the lady at the front desk if the restaurant would be open today and what type of food would be served. She said it wouldn’t be open until tomorrow and would be serving bar food. ( deep fried to be exact) the workers at Starbucks are more on their phone than clearing tables. Front desk is about the same attitude. But we stayed in the suite the show is huge and has several shower heads. That was amazing. The room was big as well and clean. Even and a fireplace and mood lighting. It was a short walk to the falls and you can even walk across into to Canada. If you have a passport

If I could I’d give 0 stars. Really terrible service. I spent $300 for a night (as it was Labor Day weekend) and even drinking water is not complimentary here. They wouldn’t let us check in before 4 pm and the room quality was abysmal. There was constant sound of water dripping outside so couldn’t even sleep. Super disappointing especially because it wasn’t cheap. Only pro was the location, else the service was really terrible. The front desk folks were rude and not at all helpful. My memory to the Niagara was spoilt thanks to the hotel stay.

This property definitely needs some maintenance. The room was Ok, the lobby was not clean and the lift was making weird sounds at each start and stop. The good thing is the linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. And don't know why they gave me a room without a bathtub. Location is the only plus point during my stay.

Affordable, friendly front desk, clean room. Was not pleased with my experience at the Starbucks breakfast. The bagel was really small and I paid 7.30$. Not only that but I wasn’t even called when my bagel was ready I saw a bag just laying on the counter and assumed it was mine and I went to check and it turned out to be mine. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed that I was waiting even though it was ready. I know this hotel can do better than this because my first day experience was not like this at all.

The sheets weren’t changed when we checked in. There is dirt all over the tables and the window panes. We had to call the housekeeping and request them to change the sheets. Lifts and AC makes a weird sound. Apart from that the location was great. Please start providing water bottles in the room
