Owners Nancy & Ralph Caparulo make every visit to Wyndbourne feel like you're coming home after a long absence. Along with my wife and myself, other family and friends are repeat visitors who always pledge to return. In addition to a classic American farmhouse atmosphere and experience, the décor, garden and expansive scenery are all worth the trek from wherever you may be coming from and forever long as you may stay. We highly recommend Wyndbourne for anyone seeking a respite from the daily grind, yet want to be close to so much the region has to offer. Try it and you'll be more than pleased that you did.
We had a great stay at Wyndbourne B&B. Nancy and Ralph were lovely hosts and a pleasure to talk with. They also have a very sweet dog. We had a comfortable night's sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning.
I spent President's Day weekend with 2 other friends at Wyndbourne and found both Ralph and Nancy to be very special people. Their historic home is both charming and beautifully appointed. The amenities are top notch, and the rooms comfortable and spacious. Sitting around the fire with a glass of wine to unwind was an amazing treat for me. With so much to do and see in this part of New York State, I will definately be back. Nancy will be happy to direct you, and if lucky, Ralph will show you some of his art.
We absolutely enjoyed our time at Wyndbourne. The grounds are so attractive and peaceful. Nancy and Ralph are a delight. The new part of the house where the breakfast area is - is bright and airy. The coffee (Thank you, Ralph) is to die for! Nancy's home-made ricotta will make your mouth water for more!
My husband and I just stayed at the Wyndbourne for 5 nights, visiting with family who were vacationing at Galway Lake and taking a couple of trips into Saratoga Springs. Truly, we couldn't have asked for better lodgings. The house is tasteful, free of froufrou, full of gorgeous rugs and interesting art. The bed was comfortable! The breakfasts are completely delicious. Nancy and Ralph's hospitality is top notch. There are good reasons for all these 5-star reviews.
Our stay with Nancy and Ralph was in late July and the beauty of the gardens when we arrived was so welcoming. We enjoyed spending time outside exploring the variety of flowers and various plants and seeing Ralph's studio. This home, built in the 1790s, is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and lots of books! ||Nancy's breakfasts were delightful and served in their wonderful kitchen/dining area! A peaceful place to stay in a lovely town with friendly and thoughtful hosts.
Our call to Nancy and Ralph was a call to not only reserve a room at the Wyndbourne Inn but to catch up with Innkeepers who have hosted and welcomed us with open arms over the past ten years. They have been in business for 22 years now, and they have it down! We arrived at approximately 9:00 PM, and their rescue dog, Fawn warmly greeted us along with Nancy and Ralph. After a short chat, we were off to bed and slept soundly through the night in a nicely appointed bedroom with attached bathroom. The artwork, the collection of books and the antiques throughout the B & B give a feeling of love, warmth and comfort, and each time we stay we wish we could stay longer. Ralph has an MFA and many of his watercolors are displayed throughout the first and second floors. To say that Nancy is a gourmet chef is an understatement. Local and farm fresh ingredients make her breakfasts phenomenal and her presentations exquisite. Call The Wyndbourne Inn to relax, enjoy a gourmet breakfast and chat with our friends, Nancy and Ralph. You will be happy you did.
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at Wyndbourne . We found the house to be very lovely and cozy on such a cold evening. Nancy and Ralph were a joy to get to know and breakfast was perfect. I am looking forward to coming back when it is warmer and the gardens are in their full glory.
