Beautiful beaches with lots of places to spread your blanket. Parking sucks though so be prepared to hike a ways. Johnny Mercer’s Pier has been a staple on the beach for many many years and is a great place for a soft drink, t-shirt, sun tan lotion or whatever else you forgot to pack.
No board walking and not many public parking but beach / costal area is OK. It needs lots of improvement for visitors attraction to grow the local economy.

We absolutely love going to this beautiful quaint beach!! Parking and finding space to set up on the beach can be a little difficult but so worth it when you do!
I love visiting Wrightsville beach. It’s one of the filming locations for my favorite show: “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and it’s just a perfect little beach town. Parking can be quite challenging so I suggest arriving early, before the crowds.
Clean beach with convenient access points. There are only 3 points with restrooms- access point #2 is one of them. Search “Wrightsville beach restrooms” & the others should appear. Hope this helps!
Great clean beach. This beach is dog-friendly from Oct 1- March 31 where leashed dogs are allowed to be on the beach. (Paid) parking is less hectic or scarce in the off season. We were able to find a spot pretty much right away. Parking can be paid via app or text.
Lots of pay and parking at streets near the beach. Beautiful and clean beach, mostly clear water. Lots of shells, Great experience.

Drift Cafe is DELICIOUS!!! They seriously have the best food. It's our go-to breakfast stop in Wilmington. Their pancakes are so unique and delicious! My husband always gets the Biscoff Pancakes (he's obsessed) and I get the Avocado Toast or Crispy P
