Nice Park for a walk with dogs. Awesome Sports Park.
Fairly peaceful and quiet in the morning hours. Just people walking around the park. Plenty of trails and if you pick the right one, you can end up at contra Loma.
The park is located at 801 James Donlon Blvd in Antioch Calif, the pictures that was posted online when I was looking for a place for my family i to go for Labor Day Cook Out was very miss leading, it shows a Lake, people gathered on a pier and other things, it does have a huge area for various sport activities, biking, hiking and walking your dog, and restrooms that needed cleaning . Maybe the lake area was up over the steep hill? However God blessed my family and I to make the best of it, but because of the extreme heat we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked.
Nice soccer fields, but there needs to be closer restrooms. You have to walk about a quarter of a mile from the field entrance to the restroom that serves the baseball/softball fields and park.
Took my kids here to decompress. They loved the playground. I disliked all the fallen figs on the ground.
Seems quiet, clean, well managed and safe. Only thing, while I was there in the morning for about 25 minutes (8am), not one person or animal was there.
Peaceful and a great walk around the reservoir. Saw a rattlesnake today. Be careful. Today I saw a California king snake. Don't worry they won't hurt you and they eat rattlesnakes.
We paid $100 to reserve the largest picnic area at Jensen Family Grove. You would think that they would at least maintain the area. There was garbage littered everywhere along with full/overflowing garbage and recyclable bins. The toilets were disgusting. I definitely wouldn't reccomend this place for your next family bbq. Lesson learned.
