We enjoyed our stay at Stablewood Springs Resort. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, which was just fine for us as a couple. Propane grills and a picnic table were located next to our building. The swimming pool was large and luxurious, with hot tub and 3 handicap accessible lifts. We attended a Stargazing party Saturday evening which was quite interesting. ||I will say the carpet on both the front and back door needed attention. We dealt with ants in the kitchen.WiFi was o.k., but t.v. reception was constantly digitizing and signal was spotty. The overall experience was quite pleasant and unit was furnished nicely. Just wished there had been more organized activities in the resort.
The resort was very nice with great amenities, but we did have one issue with bed bugs. The small town of Ingram offered great dining at Copper Pot and Billie Gene's, and it was a short drive to Fredericksburg for some wine tasting. We had a private river access that was very convenient with nice rapids and watering holes. Overall it was a relaxing week.
Clean facilities, best sunset view from the pool, peaceful outdoor lounging areas and a family of deer you'll spot now and then. Our 2 bedrooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. Kitchen had all that we needed. Washer and dryer, ironing board, iron and 2 blow dryers. They will bring a bag of ice to your room upon request.
This is becoming our annual spot. The drive out is beautiful 😍. Lots of small places within 30 minutes driving distance for food, education and entertainment. We love it for a low key getaway. The staff has always been awesome for each of our visits. The rural feel, views, star gazing area, fire pit, pools and rec center/area have been enough to keep us satisfied that we haven't made it to the river access portion, yet. Maybe next visit 🤠
This is a great resort with amazing amenities and super friendly staff. It is beautifully situated, and in a great spot to get to all the things we wanted to see and do. We loved our week-long stay and will definitely be back!
Wonderful property with beautiful views! Staff were friendly and attentive to any requests, amenities were nice, room was clean except for bit of mold in the shower tile. We stayed in a 2BR Presidential which was well-appointed and had personal parking spaces, close to pool and recreational activities. Property is about 10-15 minutes from Hunt, Ingram or Kerrville which has several restaurants and other activities; we brought food to cook for most meals which worked out well for our size family. Would stay here again!
We had a wonderful time at Hunt Stablewood Springs Resort. The units are clean and modern. The kitchen is well stocked. There are BBQ's throughout the property. There are many activities available at the resort. The pools are spectacular. You are with in 50 minutes drive to Fredericksburg and 20 minutes to Kerrville. The Guadalupe River is a few minutes away, if you enjoy paddle boarding or kayaking.
Resort and accommodations absolutely wonderful...close to everything. Look forward to staying there again! But don't get sucked in to the timeshare presentation like we did. When we said nevermind they coaxed us with a free 3day/2night stay anywhere! Ended up our options were pretty limited. When we finally went to book we found out we would need to pay $175 to $300 in taxes and fees AND LISTEN TO ANOTHER ONE HOUR PRESENTATION OR BE FINED $150.00 Go and enjoy this wonderful place but SKIP the presentation!
