Workshire was a great place to getaway. We only stayed for the weekend but could’ve and gladly would’ve stayed longer. Cabin 12 was incredibly clean, it was well stocked also. The beds were comfortable and there was a fan to use while sleeping if needed. There was plenty of extra blankets also. The bathroom was clean with soft towels, and HOT water in the shower which was amazing. The kitchen was stocked well although we didn’t utilize it much, as we enjoyed all the good food around Estes. The deck along the River was perfection for our morning Cinnamon rolls. It was great being able to open up the windows and enjoy listening to the water. The office was extremely helpful and even let my husband know about the Bigfoot festival the town holds! Cabin 12 sat down at the bottom and provided plenty of privacy. We will absolutely return to Workshire Lodge.
The Workshire Lodge is located on the banks of the Fall River a mile from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park = Awesome! and 2 miles from Estes Park where you will find souvenir shops and restaurants in this fun little town.
Very convenient! It is a small family-owned resort with cabins along the Fall River. A very nice location if you like quiet and peaceful accommodations where you can enjoy nature in all its beauty and listen to the river. The owners are pleasant and knowledgeable about the area.
Our cabin was located on the river, and we had a deck that was wonderful. Our cabin, #12, had a nice kitchen that was quite well equipped and also had 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin looked like it had been recently renovated.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit! I will let all my friends know this is a great place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain Natl Park.
We stayed here for almost a full week on our first trip to the Rocky Mountains at the end of August. The two owners are extremely nice- even letting us borrow a hummingbird feeder when they saw my fascination at all the hummingbirds swarming the feeder by the office. They also loaned us a hiking guide book when they found out we wanted to do a bunch of hikes.
The campground itself isn't huge, but it has a nice mulched trail that follows the river that flows through the campground. We were in cabin 7, which was very private feeling down on the end of the campground. The place was exactly as pictured and had all the charm of a woodsy cabin. The shower was huge, the kitchen had a stove, oven, minifridge, and was well stocked with pots/pans, and the bed was comfortable. It was beautiful weather to sleep with the windows open, too. We were also able to take advantage of the grill outside (tools were provided, too).
Overall, we had a truly wonderful experience and would highly recommend this site to anyone traveling. It is also 1 mile from the Fall River entrance to the park and a park visitor center. The drive to downtown Estes Park isn't very long, and there is a grocery store nearby for getting supplies.
Privacy and Comfort!||We hate hotels. There’s always someone behind a thin wall you just don’t want to hear. These cute little cabins at Workshire Lodge are so much more to our liking. The only sounds we heard was the wind in the trees and the water running on Fall River outside our windows. Just Lovely!||Nice clean cabins and firm beds. The owners are obliging and available. I would encourage anyone who just wants to relax in a quiet environment to book with Workshire.
Stayed in cabin #11. Very nice location close to the park. Not luxury lodging but perfect if you don’t plan to stay inside much. Felt very private and the view out front is amazing.
Cabin included a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink.
Room had 2 heaters. Took awhile to heat the room but served their purpose.
Only complaint is the bed. It was collapsed in the middle and definitely needs to be replaced. The pillows were very flat.
I visited with my sister. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The cabin is very cozy and well equipped. The view from the porch is lovely. It’s very close to the Fall River entrance so very convenient. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. We plan on returning next year.
We have stayed here a number of times in the last 15 years and have always enjoyed it. The cabins are clean well stocked and most of all a very friendly couple running the lodge. Priced well. Would stay again. We love it
My wife and stayed here on a quick trip back for our 30th anniversary as we honeymooned in Estes Park 30 yrs ago. The host is very helpful and kind. The rooms were very clean and reasonable! We will definitely be back again for another stay :).

River Stone Resorts is a fantastic getaway location. It offers super easy access to the Fall River entrance of RMNP and is outside of town enough to have peace and quiet but close enough to easily enjoy all that downtown has to offer. Cinnamon's Bake
We have stayed here twice and absolutely love it here. Cabins are very comfortable and have everything we could possibly need. We arrived early and they got us in our cabin as quickly as possible which we really appreciated. Enjoyed the waffle breakf

Our family stayed in the Couloir cabin for a few days after Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for four adults and two dogs. Even plenty of closet space to store all our stuff. The private hot tub was great. The decor is a
Trout Haven is a great family excursion. My kids talk about it all year. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not your cheapest trout dinner by lb, but well worth the memories.
We have stayed here at least 10 times. The most recent time our fridge was not working when we arrived, it was taken care of right away. They drop off needed items i.e. toilet paper, soap etc...as long as you put in a request before noon. They are ve
You canât ask for a better location, barely a mile from our room to one of the visitor centers of The Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was super clean, jacuzzi, kitchen, linens, floors, bathroom, all were spotless. Bed was medium to soft, wor
Phenomenal view on a clear day. Quiet windy as should be expected, so protect your hats from flying away. Keep eyes open for mountain goats and elks. Last time we had a coyote jump in front of our car in pursuit of prey. The road up to this overlook
Another of the beautiful overlooks of the Trail ridge rd. This one looks at the valley that is between the trail ridge rd and the fall river road to which the fall river flows from the receding glaciers of the RMNP. Has a slightly larger parking lot
My dad and I stopped by this gallery during our vacation to Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm so glad we did! The photography is absolutely incredible. There are very high quality large prints for sale, but also affordable smaller ones which were als

This resort is by far my favorite place I have ever stayed in Estes Park, the location is far enough away from everyone else to feel tucked away but still be close enough to town. The service is phenomenal, every little detail truly matters to them a
One of the most peaceful and serene places here at RMNP.
If you want to take a breather from the Bear Lake crowd stop in for a few and decompress...
The view of Longs Peak is nice too
