Woody's Roadside Tavern - Bar in Farmingdale - 105 Academy St, USA

We've been here before and really enjoyed the burgers. This time, we decided to try something different. Ordered the French Onion soup, not good. It was oily and bland. We had the Ahi Tuna tacos. The tuna could have been seasoned a little more, but the sauce and avocado were good. We also had the beef tacos. These were more like chilly tacos. It was tasty but not what we expected. The ambiance is nice and it is pet friendly.

Absolutely horrible place, waitress poor at best, food terrible for price, waitresses tossed my food in garbage after telling her I wanted it boxed, then she tosses the replacement sandwich on the table to me, unbelievable. The acoustics are horrendous so loud you can't even hear the person next to you. Definitely not worth your time or money.

Went here for the first time today. All I can say is that this was the best chargrilled burger I have ever had in my 54 years. It was juicy, tender, and had this amazing chargrilled crust and was still cooked to my requested medium temp. The char flavor doesn't stop when you get to the center like on some burgers. The service was spectacular. The atmosphere is great. I only wish I took some pictures to post. Three times and still only get a burger. Would love to try other items on the menu....but.....burger

First time there. We were invited to a retirement party held there. There was a buffet lunch and the food was pretty good! Service was good as well. It just got a bit noisy at times. But that was from members of our group! Very easy to get to and plenty of parking. Looked like a very spacious outdoor seating area as well.

Very reasonable place to grab lunch or a light dinner. Bar is located in the center of the room so it may not be the place to pick for a quiet dinner, but not so loud that you can't talk. Food and service make this a place to return to

Long time patron. Prices went up awhile ago like many others. Now portions have gone down. I understand things are hard, but they're hard for me too. The food is great, but I'm not sure I can afford a $20 chicken sandwich.

Had a nice experience at Woody's tonight. The manager was very accommodating and allowed my group, that grew from 12 to 20+ reunion friends, to occupy the private dining room. Everyone had a great time thanks to the food, conversation, and excellent service.

Wonderful place nestled in Famingdale not far from Manasquan reservoir and Allaire state park. Great wooded inside and outside biergarden awesome Our waitress was friendly and attentive the food was delicious. From the tuna wraps burgers and wings not a bad meal to be had. Worth a stop for sure.
