We have visited this place on our way to Dallas from Austin. It was very peaceful and soothing out there. Loved the lake view and sunset. The people at the park were very friendly.
Well preserved community park located on the outskirts of the Waco.
Ample parking space with wheelchair accessible parking available next to the shore.
The entrance and the route is marked with one-way so ensure you enter/exit in the correct path.
Good place to relax and take your dog for a walk. Has an attached gazebo for family dine-in. Would suggest to visit while in Waco. #HappyVisiting
The staff was very helpful I wanted to change my sight and they did it for me. The park is set up really well firing and grills and the maintenance is fairly good although the lake was full of garbage down by the lake.. The biggest complaint would be the highway noise.
my beautiful wife and I visited just to relax and enjoy our day. The park and lake are very nice. People seem to respect other people's space. It is a family friendly park & lake. We took our two pups and they enjoyed as well. The only negative was US picking up other people's trash....sad sad sad especially when there are trash cans everywhere. That's the only complaint. I do recommend visiting, you won't be disappointed. All in all we had a blessed day. Thank you for this park and lake...blessings upon you all and be safe..oh,there is disc golf also..
Great mountain bike / hiking trails nestled in this little park. The trails are short and it's difficult to get a ton of miles in but, they are really nice. Very scenic with the lake right there.
The place and quiet and nice. I wish the area to the beach or shore is more well-maintained. Some people leave their trash or broken glass bottles by the shore. Maybe, some ordinance or enforce some rules to keep the place clean and safe for kids.
UPDATE:
The park has improved a lot. I noticed that it's much more cleaner now, the beach does not have much glass around. Also, there's a new public bathroom. Way to go, Woodway. This is one of Waco's best kept secret 😊
A park on the edge of the water. At the end of the road there's a loop and the center area is a green space with disc golf. On one side there's some trails going between the trees. Nothing super exciting there. The water edge is nice, there are some tables to sit and enjoy the scene.
Woodway Park is such a great place to spend an evening, or really any time of the day. Trees to hammock, tables to eat at, disc golf, lake access, trails. Thanks to the city for free spaces to enjoy, and for keeping it clean!
About as close to an old school park in the new Era of parks... a merry go round and challenging climb to an awesome slide! Walking circle, dog park, bathrooms and covered picnicking areas.
My wife and kids all go here and I cannot tell you the difference I have seen in them all. Professor Turner and his staff is amazing!! Highly recommended!!
Green Door Lofts and the host, Jim, were amazing. The loft is centrally located with garage parking should you need it but it is within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. The loft was well appointed and stocked with comfortable living
The PHO here is amazing!! Holy cow yummy. I also tried the grilled pork bowlâit reminds me of Vietnamese vermicelli, but here itâs served warm. The âhouseâ fish sauce with it is very mild flavored. The menu only has a few items, but it all se

Our bowls were delicious and perfectly customized to our liking. The service was so friendly and they were very quick. I would recommend the chicken and also the beef. We love a healthy option at the Silos, so glad we tried it here!
What a fantastic place! Service and coffee was great. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Great variety of gluten free baked goods that are out of this world good. Met the owner of the Waco franchise, Amy, she was so friendly. She explained the concept
Good food, come hungry you won't be disappointed. Big papi is a beast, seafood spud and Santa Fe / Latina are solid too. Get the large version if you can.
1000/10 recommend!! Tess has been my favorite instructor so far, making the class manageable but still challenging for all levels of riders. I feel good knowing I can bring my friends and know we will all have fun and get a good ride out of it! Iâv
Tiffany is an extremely friendly and sociable human being! I had done a DIY piercing job at home, which was perhaps the worst way I could have gone about it. Lots of stress and anxiety. The cheap jewelry I used was a headache and I ended up not heali
