WoodSpring Suites Texas City - Extended stay hotel in Texas City - 11444 32nd Ave N, USA

The staff here are amazing. They are more then just your average friendly. They get to know their guests and they are very accommodating. The room leave not much to be desired. The nightly rate is comparable to other hotels without kitchens. So already a pretty good deal. But the prices just get better with the length of your stay cutting your nightly rate by in average $20/night if you are paying for a week. The only complaint I have are the guests that are current longer term guests. Treating the interior halls and outside parking lot as if they are at home and leaving these areas in disarray at times.

Upon arriving at this hotel, I found that my room was nothing like what is advertised online. The refrigerator is discolored, the floors are dirty, the bathroom mirror is disgusting, the bedsheets were stained and appeared dirty. There were no towels in my room and I had to ask the service desk for some. They were able to provide towels however I decided to check out. They did not provide any receipt of Transaction and would not refund any money upon checkout, although I did not fulfill the reservation. When the front desk staff that they are not full service motel. The hallways and room smelt terrible, a mixture of weed and dog. Overall sketchy vibes, though it is located in a safe area of Texas.

Worst experience EVER ! My house had flooded and I had to stay here for a month !! Just checked out today September 8th , 2024 . I finally had enough of the rudeness from one of the employees , a black lady with long black/white hair extensions. I have Never Ever seen a hotel run like as if it were their own house and really don't give a Crap about guest that are staying there !! I would NOT recommend staying at this nasty place ! The halls smell bad ,rooms smell , groups of people are always hanging outside smoking weed !! Trash everywhere on the grounds in the back of the building . Lord forbid you need any towels or wash clothes ( that they charge you for daily ) to use while your staying there because 90 percent of the time they don't have any , their excuse is that people steal them !! Their are at least 5-6 broken down cars on the property. Roaches in the rooms and stains in the ceiling in the bathroom from a leak from the roof. First few days there they painted / or used insecticide in the emergency stairs on both sides, the smelll was sooooooo overwhelming that I had to ware a mask , smelt like pesticide not paint ! My car was scratch by another car on my door . But my last straw was last night !!!! I worked all day and left my service dog in the hotel room while I was gone , got off at 2am in the morning and when I got back to hotel I could Not get inside , my key pad would NOT open the door , and YES I paid for my room that morning, so WHY can I Not get this door open to get to my room to take care of my dog ???? Called the emergency number and the SAME nasty women finally answered the phone after I called 3 times , obviously she was pissed because I woke her up ! I told her my lock Scaning key want work , I paid for my room this morning, WHY can't I get in !!!!!! All she could say was I'm charging You 10.00 for being locked out because she has to come downstairs to let me in ! I Said No your Not ! It's not my fault my key does not work on this door !! She did Not care that she was going to charge me anyways . I said how am I supposed to take my dog out if I Can't get back in my room ???? She said I guess your going to have to leave you door open !!! Wth ??? She walked with me to my room and my key actually worked for my door , but Not downstairs, soooooo tell me wth is going on with this place !!!! So this morning I got up went downstairs to talk to the general manager she's not there , same mean woman there agin said she's nor here and Not to poke my head in the window looking for her ! She then again said she was still chaging me 10.00 for being locked out last night , even though it was Obvious it was NOT my fault ! She was again very rude and disrespectful towards me , so I went up stairs and packed to leave . I paid for yesterday and had a zero balance, but yet she said I owed 50.04 today even though I was out before 11am. Please people DONT stay here , believe me you will regret it ! And yes I have already called corporate.

Horrible rude staff. Dirty disgusting rooms. Just a full bed- no double queens as booked. No refunds Room literally smelled like fish chum. I cleaned and cleaned. Washed all bedding ect.. All on my dime and my time- trying to be able to bear it. Never got the dead fish smell out. Never again!

I know you get what you paid for but this was worse than expected. To start this review my family and I entered the establishment to be greeted with a nose full of marijuana. We understand that workers are allowed smoke breaks and such so we continued with our interaction with the hotel receptionist. Be aware that we booked a 2 queen room 3 months in advance, they could not find our booking and then they tried to fit my family of 4 in a single queen room. When we did not take the single bed offer they "magically" found a room to accommodate us. At this point we were all tired and just ready to take showers and go to bed. We walked through to the elevators and the weed smell was still persistent all the way up to the room. When in the room the AC was useless and we ended up opening up the window and fridge to keep the room as cool as possible. Least to say we were not pleased and will not return.

I only was going to be out of the room for an hour during lunch, and had to have it cleaned during that time, as I'm busy with work. Aerial in the front office expedited it PERFECTLY, with a great attitude and professionalism. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel for a price like this, you have unrealistic expectations from the start and you need professional help most likely. However, if you're looking for a good deal on a decent room, this is perfect. I had a situation where I'm waiting on the right house to be ready for me to purchase and needed a bed and a shower for a couple months until my house is ready, and this is working perfectly, so far after 2 weeks. 5 stars for great customer service from Aerial.

Rooms are very dirty. Hallways smell like weed. The vibe feels very uneasy and uncomfortable due the location and attraction of people to the hotel. I do not recommend this place. I checked into my room and left 20 Minutes after to a better hotel. We did not not receive a refund either.

I have been staying at Woodspring Suites in Texas City, TX since 09/28/2022 because of proximity to my medical providers. One employee at the hotel deserves comment, Adrian Allen. He has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and works hard to deal with customer requests in a timely fashion. I managed a 4 Star hotel in Nashville for 6 years and Adrian would have been a positive addition to my staff.
