WoodSpring Suites Tacoma - Lakewood - Extended stay hotel in Lakewood - 11329 Pacific Hwy SW, USA

The location is great—close to many places to eat and shop. However, the rooms and service are not so great. There are hidden fees that are not discussed when you reserve a room, like a $150 security deposit, and then if you have more than one car, it's $10 a day for each additional car. Now we can talk room. If I am not mistaken, all hotels use bleach to clean their sheets. I found blood stains on my sheets. When I called the front desk, they would not send housekeeping to change them. They stated that we had to come down and get new sheets from them and do it ourselves. My fiance went down twice and got sent back with the wrong-size sheets. On top of that the front desk help had an attitude with him and found the whole situation funny.

The room smelled like feet, there was a greasy film on every service, the desk person was rude, she tried to give me someone else's reservation, they charged my card twice, when I told the front desk person about my issues she said they wouldn't change my room, she acted inconvenienced by guests presents. When checkout time came, there was no one at the front desk and no instructions on how to check out. We had to call a weird phone number just to be told to slide our key cards under the security shutter. I wish I could give zero stars.

Terrible terrible. I’ve literally been here for 2 hours and the service is ridiculous. I checked in the toilet was clogged so I told the front desk so they can fix it. They took my ID and handed me a plunger…which I thought was crazy. I tried unclogging it myself and I was unsuccessful (this toilet was clearly clogged before I even checked in). So I told them and they told me they can’t do anything about it until Monday (it’s Saturday today). I asked for a room change and they said no. Then I asked for the managers information and they said no lol absolutely ridiculous. Don’t book here!! Terrible service, staff look like they hate their jobs. We all do, at least pretend and be a decent human while you’re doing it. Also the whole property is covered in dog poop.

***Avoid at all cost*** Disgusting hotel!!! The place is dirty with trash and dog poop all around outside. Trash all over the hallways and covered in dog pee. Air freshener in the rooms try to cover up the nasty smells in room. Very unsafe hotel and area! Front desk lady was rude, ghetto, disrespectful and should never be able to work at a front desk at any hotel. Tired to canceled as soon as I got here but was told because I paid in advance I can get a refund. They force you to pay a pet fee even if your dog is a registered service animal. You pay for any clean sheets you receive.

I had the worst experience at this hotel. After checking in at the hotel, I had a stomachache and needed to use the toilet urgently, but the toilet in my room could not be flushed, which made me and my other half have a very embarrassing experience. After the staff changed the room for us, we found that the hotel elevator and our room both have a sugnigicant hygiene issue and there were some unknown stains on the sheets. ⚠️More importantly, the surroundings of the hotel and the people around the hotel let us feel really uncomfortable- of being in a very unsafe place. When I asked to leave early and asked if I could get a refund, I was refused, which was very disappointing. We booked 2 nights but we DID NOT even stay there, we left straight away and went to another hotel. (BTW front desk closes at 10PM) The staff was friendly tho...

The service of wood springs is horrible they won’t answer calls from neither my boyfriend or Expedia. The calls were made regarding a refund towards a room that we did not have the chance to use as me and my boyfriend were underage by one year. This location just seems unreliable with its service and is not as transparent.

My boyfriend made a reservation over the phone last night around 8pm and when the man was done getting my boyfriend information for the hotel he immediately transfers my boyfriend to some girl who was trying to scam him. She was saying that my boyfriend could get a huge discounted price for a vacation in the Woodspring Suites anywhere like Florida and South Carolina as a “promotion” for being a first time customer. But the kicker was in order to “hold our spot in the promotion” we’d have to give her our card information so she could charge $300. I don’t know if the hotel owner knows about this going on but it’s not okay that a hotel is preying on peoples money. And maybe it isn’t the hotel but the person who was working last night. Who knows but we definitely will not be staying anywhere with Woodspring Suites after they tried to scam us.

I have been here for not even a day and we are staying for 3 weeks but already the TV is not working because the signal sucks we can't use the phones because of the signal there are bed bugs on the bed the water pressure in the shower is worse then a water gun that you would get from dollar tree and all the hallways and my room smell like weed or smoke when I was walking down the hall there was a giant smoke cloud floating in the hall and there is dog poop everywhere you look outside of the door it's looks like that they spend more money on lights to show off there green yard then on wifi or cleaning. So if you want to get sick or something on a vacation or moving trip then be my guest to stay at this place it's cheap but even with this price I would not stay here again
