WoodSpring Suites Louisville Jeffersontown - Featured Reviews (262)
good night. I am leaving you a message because I have several observations to make. I have been staying at your hotel for a month and a half and I want you to explain to me why the price increases every week. I have been a Woodspring customer for a long time since I am traveling for my work and what is happening to me here in Kentucky has never happened to me, even in other cities because I work at Dematic they give me a special price. Here I have spent more than 30 days of lodging and you have not returned the taxes to me. I have all my bills from the first day I arrived here. Another observation, the first week I arrived here they stole all my clothes in the laundry room and they never gave me a response, they only told me that the cameras were no longer useful. I think what I have received here is very bad treatment and I am going to have to take other measures since no one is giving me an answer. I don't know if the bad treatment they are giving me is something personal since I have co-workers who have been at the hotel for the same amount of time as me and for them it is a different price.
Miranda's review is spot on. First night the room was really small. Bed was a full. The next day the room smelled like complete urine and disgusting-ness. I arrived on a Saturday and was told I have to wait until Monday to speak to the manager. I could not breathe in my room. The window wouldn't even open enough to air out the disgusting smell. The front desk woman looked at me with no concern whatsoever. This is just a job for her. Don't let the pictures fool you. Every room smelled like someone died in it. This place isn't worth whatever amount they are trying to charge. And it's not like it's in the bad part of the neighborhood. On the outside it looks fine. But it is deceiving. No shower is long enough to rid my body of the horrible smell in this room. This building should be torn down. The city should have a serious look into this building. I'm sure it's not up to code, and I know there will be so many health violations. The general manager should take a walk in this building and be appalled that people are renting in these conditions. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I came here from Vegas and the room gave me a headache. I had to buy Bomb spray from the gas station to try and mask the smell while I'm here. STAY AWAY. I want my money back. If I wanted to smell urine and poop I would have slept on the streets with the homeless people. At least they're outside and have fresh air.
Atrocious. Absolutely one of the most disgusting, unkempt, filthy hotels I've ever seen and had the displeasure of staying in. The accommodations were not mine of choice so I made the best of it. Garbage and debris along with feces and huddles of people around the door smoking cigarettes and weed are the first thing you see as you walk up to check in. Feces Littering the sidewalk, parking lot and stone covered landscaping. As you walk inside to check in the clerks are unfriendly and somewhat rude at best (one little guy was pretty nice, didn't catch his name though). Once inside, the building smells so strongly of cigarettes, weed and stale dog urine its sickening to even stand and wait for the elevator... which you will be standing waiting for a very long time. The elevator is slow, janky and filthy all its own. One guest even allowing his dog to urinate inside the elevator. Just take the stairs.. it'll take less time. Once in the room, the floor and walls were coated in such a thick layer of dirt and dog urine/feces residue, I took it upon myself to go by cleaning supplies and clean the walls, doors, and floor to try and alleviate the smell.. walls and bed sheets were covered in mysterious brown stains and the perfect imprint of a buttcrack with feces spray residue was on the sheet that got ripped immediately from the bed. People fighting and yelling in the rooms all night, dogs barking excessively in the rooms and hallways all hours, even to the point of barking as you walk past the doors of rooms. Disgusting & unacceptable. I would never stay in the hotel again, nor recommend it to another person. Honestly, I would never stay at another hotel bearing this brand name because of my experience. 600 a week for this is ROBBERY. Do better.
Genuinely one of the worst experiences of a hotel I've ever had. Staff is rude and don't do their jobs. Masterswitches in the rooms that turn all of the power in the room off destroyed my 3000 dollar PC. Upstairs neighbors being as noisy as possible at all times and when we complained the desk just yelled at us because "They have kids they are allowed to make noise at 5 a.m". All around the worst hotel I've ever had to stay at.
the hotel reeks of marujana. my family and i stayed there for a week and we have been coughing non stop afterwards. all of our clothes and blankets we brought are stained with the smell. its a convenient budget hotel, but PLEASE get better air conditioning and ventilation. the rooms weren't as bad as the hallways. but the hallways had a wall of stench. i had to cover my face everytime we went out. the hallways also smelt like dog pee. if you are thinking of staying here, dont. its not worth it.
The staff was excellent. However, the rooms had sticky floors and a persistent bad odor, there was constant smoking under the windows, even right under the no smoking sign. Kids were running around and banging on the floor until 12 at night.
All over great experience, Ppl stay in their own Business ,Dont have ppl hanging around outside and it's not drug infested so dont listen to that b.s ...and management is cool and doesn't stay up your rear plus it is constantly patrolled by police multiple times thru the day and also is.Very pet-friendly but the wifi IS TERRIBLE, and they only let a certain amount of people connect to the wifi.
I'll start by explaining that this is a low rent, long stay, no frills, hotel. It's not even a holiday Inn. Based upon what it is I would say that it is the best of the two star hotels. The rooms are sparse, the sheets are not high thread count, floor unit ac/heat. A lot of contractors were staying here and they liked to hang out in the parking lot and have a couple of drinks every night. The reason for 4 stars? The place is spotlessly clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A really great value for the area.

We stumbled in here after grabbing food around the corner. We had a great experience. The bartenders were knowledgeable. As a bonus, they were having happy hour all day because it was Sunday. I think our old fashioned were $6 each. They were wonderfu
