I needed an inexpensive place to stay during a mass power outage after a storm. This place was a little more than I wanted to spend, but the Motel6 and Super8 were all booked up. I thought this place would be a little better than the others judging solely on the appearance at first glance. The best part of this place is the young lady who works the night shift at the desk. She was a joy to chat with as I checked in. She was very helpful and has a great positive attitude. I had an issue with my key card, but she fixed it immediately. That said, the bad stuff started once I got to the elevator. It's very loud and sounds like it needs some maintenance. It also could use a sweeping. There were dust bunnies piled up in the corners. So I got to my room, and at first glance it's perfect size for what I wanted, just sleep and relax for a night. Plenty of room, a nice kitchenette, and a roomy bathroom. Well, not to be picky, but this is the first hotel I've been to that does not have a coffee pot and coffee in the room. I guess because this is actually an extended stay hotel, customers are expected to bring their own. I get it, but I was still annoyed mostly because I was not in my own home that night. The light switches in the bathroom took some maneuvering to turn on. I was flipping one then the other then both at the same time. The light finally came on, so I left it on all night so I didn't have to worry about taking a shower in the dark in the morning. Other than that, the bathroom was great. It was very clean and well stocked, and has great water pressure in the shower. The bed is a firm mattress that lays on top of a metal frame. I was not aware of this, so I got a little startled when the mattress slid about 4 inches when I sat on. This place was good for one night, but I can not imagine having an extended stay here.
Positive: The room size with kitchenette Negative: Loud noises from A/C unit all night, and no staff available to assist. It appears that the front desk closes down after a certain time. There was not even anyone available when we checked out that morning. We had to slide keys under door to check out. Negative: ""
Great employees and clean rooms. If you have a dog it’s a great area to stay, plenty of area to walk your dog around the hotel. Definitely will stay again
Staff was amazing and so nice. Rooms were clean. The other guests were very kind and welcoming to my son and dog.
What a dump! Absolutely not senior citizen friendly!! PHONE DID NOT WORK, NO INTERNET, NO ICE MACHINES,NO COFFEE/HOT TEA MAKER, Walmart quality beds & room furniture, LUGGAGE CARTS FALLING APART!!
Gross. Piss in bathroom. Microwave disgusting. Bright lights shining into room all night long (photo is 2:37am). Inadequate bedding.
Positive: Easily accessible Negative: There are roaches, and they stated to me at 7 months pregnant the 2 small pillows I received was all they had.
While the staff was very friendly which is appreciated but cleanliness is another. During my 14 day stay on the 1st night we found a roach. Contacted the front desk and was told they would call and have the room sprayed. Never happened. In total I found 5 roaches and reported it each time. During the 2nd week I was asked if moving rooms would be okay. Due to having my children there and worried the next room would have the same issue, was told they would have the room treated so I didn't have to move ALL my families things...... NEVER HAPPENED. I was in the hotel industry for over 20+ years and how this matter was handled was very disappointing. Hotel cleanliness is key no matter where you stay. Then to just ignore the issue after numerous reports is even worse. Then my dog was not going to stay for our last three days as it cost $10 a day, I was told I would still be charged the daily pet fee even if she wasn't there. That made zero sense to me so I kept her there since I would still be charged for her. I understand paying a non refundable deposit but on top of that $10 a day that they also add taxes to is a bit much. Either charge the deposit and not a daily fee or no deposit and a daily fee. As a previous general manager of an extended stay this place minus the staff was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I believe I should get some of my monies back due to my reported issue of roaches never being addressed. Please treat your entire property for bugs, clean the hallways, elevator and even the rooms better than they were. Especially for what's being charged.....
