WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis Airport South - Featured Reviews (157)
We came in after a concert and the front desk was closed. It took us some time to contact/find someone to check us in. The card (room key) looked like a one year old had eaten dinner with it. There seemed to be several people 'living' at the hotel. A group of adult women where in the hallway talking, laughing and other things until well after 1AM. We could also hear someone else's TV until 2am or later. One pillow was hard as the mattress, the other was flat. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. And the highway noise was very loud. We will never stay at this location or another WoodSpring Suite. Very disappointed.
WORSE HOTEL to stay at, just go somewhere else! don’t waste your time + $$.
arrived 7/26-7/30 from maryland over 600+ miles away.
check in was easy at first, got to my room 227, the keys didn’t even work, my husband went downstairs and then lady had to come back up and let us in, then we decided to get something to eat, come back & try to get in the side door keys don’t work, so we go to front desk she was confused cause she asked me my room # i told her and she was like your not in that room which i was, so in the computer i was suppose to be in a different room that’s why keys didn’t work in the first place, 2nd thing is we stayed in the same room, a day later we see bugs legit roaches in the room bathroom floor & crawling on the walls, so my husband walks down to the front desk & lets them know they pretty much brushed it at first until my husband demanded a different room as we are 600+ miles away from home & i already paid for 3 nights. so we get the room the NEXT DAY.. room 416 & within hours later the toilet is overflowing & clogged. front desk gave us a plunger, still didn’t work. so we didn’t even have a working toilet. NEVER AGAIN! also the floors were so sticky, like never mopped, hallways stained & smelled like body odor, elevator was disgusting every time we went into it.
I cannot express how wonderful every single person working here was. They were always very kind and helpful during any interaction. I would come back just for that! It is the best Woodspring we have stayed in.
The rooms themselves were very clean and smelled nice. They were quite spacious and had plenty of lighting. It could use updates, but overall perfectly fine.
Guest laundry was working and appreciated after being on the road for a while.
The beds were firm but not uncomfortable. Pillows were a bit sad but usable.
Overall, great stay! I'll be choosing here if I am ever in the area for work again!
It was 12:01 AM. When I entered the lobby, the front desk, nobody was there. I was waiting there for 30 mins and there was no sign of anyone. I tried calling the hotel numbers, like the officer no, the mobile no, and the fax no, but no one picked up. On the desk, there was even a specialized number to call for late check ins, and yet, no one responded to that either. So, I guess I didn’t get a room at all even though I paid for it! Very unprofessional.
I am going to try to do a complete review on this hotel. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean, everything looks almost like new, but I have one complaint, it is a hotel with a kitchen but they do not give you any type of cooking tools, nor do they give you plates, cutlery, laundry soap, You have to buy everything, for me a hotel with a kitchen where you can't cook doesn't make sense to me, I travel with a lot of things for work to also have to travel with pots and dishes that I bought in a hotel for 9 nights of stay, the internet It is very poor and slow, and during the 9 nights I stayed they never cleaned the room, they said they do it every 14 nights, they do not change towels, they do not give you garbage bags, if you go you have to know that it is like an Airbnb where you They clean upon arrival and then you take care of it.
The lobby was clean, that is the the only positive thing I can say about it. The hallway floors had trash and stains everywhere. The room only had broken blinds that let in a ton of light from the adjacent building. The heater sounded like a jet engine blasting and the worst was the broken shower that was growing an impressive amount of mold. I would avoid this place at all cost.
Messed up our reservations but made sure we still got room at other hotels and payed for the difference. Made it all worth it!!
This hotel rocks!!! Staff bent over backwards to help me. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Rooms are very clean. I didn't see any trash on the floor or outside. There is coffee 24/7 and it's very quiet. No alarms going off and no fire trucks coming. The parking lot is full when I get off work at 2am, best of all I done smell pot!!
