The rooms are alright, they have a nice little stove top and fullsize refrigerator. They have a kinda cold empty feeling though due to not having any carpeting which at least feels a little cleaner. They don't have Ice Machines and they don't have any working vending machines. Not to mention the hallways and elevator were dirty all the time. The hotel staff here are rude and extremely unhelpful. At night they don't have anyone working and I went down into the parking lot and realized I had forgot my key and at any other establishment they would have someone working and they would be able to let me up into my room but not here. I had to actually stay someplace else for the night. Ridiculous. They should have given me a refund for the night but of course they didn't. I would suggest checking out the other hotels that are right next door, or anywhere but here. So they are clearly trying to cut costs by not hiring enough employees. I just can't believe an establishment like this doesn't have anyone working at night. Or if they do have someone working at night they clearly are not doing their job.
The location is convenient because of a breakdown as our truck was at the repair shop. However; John Dalton, the front desk manager was very unprofessional. We booked for a 3 night, 4 day stay. We asked for towels on the second day, they told us that they were not washed. So we patiently waited thinking they would bring towels to our room, but they did not. On the morning of checkout my husband called the front desk about the towels again, he was told to bring down the old towels to get new ones but when he got to the front desk, he was told that they weren’t dry. We wanted to shower before checking out, but instead, John called the sheriff on us. The sheriff even thought the whole idea of not having fresh towels was absurd.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel, unless you bring your linen, utensils, etc. they only clean the room every 14 days, you have to take out your trash.
I really liked the room and the location. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchenette/closet area is the nicest I’ve seen in Bakersfield so far.
I also want to give a glowing review to your night front desk guy. I didn’t catch his name but he was a young Asian guy. He is the only reason I’m giving a 4 star review. I had to drive for 6hrs to get to Bakersfield so I got here at 2AM in the morning. He was very accommodating and worked with me when I really needed it.
Other than him the service had been subpar. I am actually traveling between states right now because to care for a very sick parent. This has obviously been a very tough time and I hope you educate your staff on providing better customer service and compassion.
I spoke with the other front desk associate, a , about my family emergency. I explained my stay would be a lot longer than expected and would like to do the weekly rate. He explained your policy about switching to the weekly rate. Which honestly is inefficient policy for you guys. You are missing out on $400 or more just because I didn’t do a week at the beginning. Like what difference does it make? I’m staying for a week regardless if I did at the beginning or after. I am now forced to stay somewhere else and I will gladly give them the money. As well, I don’t think this place is very family friendly because it was awkward when I told him I had to bring my toddlers for the rest of my stay.
I would appreciate more sensitivity from staff to the guest’s needs. People are not going to pay over $100/night for not accommodating service. I’m obviously going through a tough time and had to travel out here at the last minute. I called you competitor and they did not have that same policy!
The worst ever.Very loud traffic noise, next to the highway.Unsafe!Check the photo. Expensive.Loud music at 2am from the bottom room.No basic amenities (no kettle,cups,etc.).You pay the deposit and wait for it(Hope they will give it back). I have been travelling for past 10 days, and stayed at various motrls and hotel, this one was a disaster, the most tiring night in the US,and I am not picky.
I was here on a business trip and truly enjoyed my stay here. I did not book this hotel and was unprepared to enjoy the spacious kitchenette in my room. It had a full-size refrigerator with a freezer, plenty of cabinet and drawer space for supplies and pantry food, and a full-size microwave that has an exhaust fan for the two burner electric stove. It was a cool touch stove, so it only got hot under the pot, which would have also saved me the tummy aches I experienced after eating Panda Express nearby. The bathroom was nice, and a big with a tub and shower that worked properly. I enjoyed the huge mirror and plenty of counter space available around the sink and the comfort of the toilet. I was not scared to sit down or touch the floors with my bare feet. However, you will need slippers because room service is only available every 14 days, I was told. I had to walk my own towels down to the lobby every morning and fetch my own toilet paper. However, one attendant was super nice to bring one up to my room as it was around 5am. I was getting ready for work, so I really appreciate that. There is no gym or pool, so I made the best possible workout routine by doing some stretches in my room, and walking around the semi private U shaped road in front of the hotel property three times each day. The elevator can run slow, but it's smooth and has a lot of space. I also appreciate that the rooms are well insulated against noise and smells. I could only smell others cooking in the hallway. There was plenty of lighting, wall plugs, and space for clothes. The beds were mid comfy and were easily moveable. The room had a nice big desk table with two chairs, and a big smart tv. The AC in my room was nice but may need a change of filter because the room smelled a little stale upon entry each day. My week here was productive, and I enjoyed having a lot of food options nearby. I highly recommend the Starbuks and Danny's. Next time I stay, I will be sure to pack a few cooking supplies. Please forgive the picture, but my meta glasses accidentally captured it, and so I am using it.
Very disappointing I was told over the phone the hotel was in a good area wouldn’t have to worry about my car being broken into this hotel should be a 2⭐️.Dirty Room, Sheets , Toilet, Restroom wasnt clean Costumer service was very dis tasteful wouldn’t recommend this location
In response to your reply your front desk staff informed me of the location not being in the best place in Bakersfield and its break ins daily also your front desk staff smelled like weed the Asian decent guy . My staff stay at your hotel and none of my guys smoke so are you going to charge me for saying your guy at the front desk smelled like smoke? When I checked in. I couldn’t cancel my hotel due to your policy of no refunds in which I tried but was told I will be charged for my whole stay upon arrival.
Positive: "" Negative: Front desk staff wasn?t available more often than not. Room doesn?t have coffee maker. No breakfast offered. Lots of bugs (killed a cockroach my first night).
Room is prefect hotel is clean just upon check in at this hotel didn't feel welcomed I got evil stair down as I tried to check into the hotel but they did moved forward with my reservation it just be mindful of how your welcome people it's goes along way to greet with a smile ☺

Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
