WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers - Extended stay hotel in Conyers - 2000 W Iris Dr SE, USA

The best random stay I’ve had in a while. The staff was very accommodating. I will definitely visit again. It felt like a home away from home. My ac went we out in the middle of the day and I called Woodsprings suites Conyers and they were able to assist me!!!

Simple, clean, accessible, you name it. I hadn't been here in years but this place still has a convincing charm in terms of its sheer hospitality. Having an electric stove and sizeable fridge are good perks too for people looking to stage a longer getaway. My only complaint is, and always has been, the noises I tend to hear especially at night. Bumps and stuff can make the walls and floors sound paper thin. It's something I've noticed here more often than other hotels of equal or greater caliber. The service is still outstanding and shouldn't be overlooked though.

My experience at Woodspring Suites in Conyers was filled with professionalism and community. I am a solo traveler and often seek to make connections in places I stay to increase my sense of safety. I was met with consistency and positivity from staff and management while at Woodsprings. I observed Precious to be the most consistent and exceptional in addressing multiple guests needs while maintaining a pleasant disposition. The hallways and stairwells were lit automatically and the guests needs were constantly being addressed. I always found parking where I could see my vehicle from my room and I never felt harassed or bothered by other guests. The rooms look just like the photos online and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I felt during my stay. I also appreciated being able to open the windows as I sometimes feel claustrophobic with hotels without fresh air. I would definitely stay again. Ask for Precious as she was very professional and showed great leadership.

My daughter and I checked in on March 8, 2024 at approx 6:15pm. Immediately we were greeted by front desk agent, Ms. P (didn't want to use her real name here) with a very welcoming smile and personality to match! I had lots of questions about the area and where to get food & essentials for our 1 night stay. Ms P answered each one with patience and again, with that smile. Ms. P went above and beyond to ensure we got the food we ordered. When the restaurant we ordered from didn't send straws or utensils, Ms.P again, went above and beyond to get plastic spoons for us! Her customer services skills and professionalism are unmatched. We were in town for a somber occassion but she made all the difference in our time here. A big "Thank You", to Ms. P!!! The Room: The room itself was adequate for one night. No iron or ironing board though. Bed and bathroom were clean. Should I find myself in town again for a short stay, I'd stay here again based on my experience.

Garbage… horrible… bug infested.. Trash I waited outside 10min before someone let me in. And in the lobby there were bugs, flies, gnats around like they lived there their whole life. I didn’t even go to the room, found somewhere else to stay, they checked me in and wouldn’t give me a refund. I would rather spend the night in my car the stay there, or recommend anyone else too. Just sleep on a park bench before you book here

DON'T EVER STAY HERE.!!!!!My husband and I checked in on 4/20/24 for a five day stay. We had just sold our home, and we were waiting to move into our new home. My husband arrived with several bags only to be told, "The elevator does not work," and we were given a room on the third floor. The wifi worked sporadically. We had to use our hotspot most of the stay. Asked about fresh towels, and was told we had to come retrieve them as housekeeping only services once per week. This place was a huge disappointment, and waste of money.

If i could give negative stars on this place I would. Hear me out and no Im not a karen, just a regular customer that doesn't require much to be happy. I just want to start with the fact that every corner smells like marijuana, it is so permeated in the walls, halls, rooms even in the “nonsmoking” area. One of the times we stayed I booked through a third part app and requested a room with 2 queen beds for 4 people, at arrival they said they were having “plumbing” issues and issued another room with one bed and a couch( not a pullout couch just a couch) said they were completely sold out and couldn't give me another room or that I could leave and find another place. They left me out in the middle of the night to find another place, says alot about management. Also makes me think they overbook themselves to avoid vacancy but encounter full house and have to kick some people out due to “plumbing issues” since they reached their capacity. Well I decided to give this place another shot like a good samaritan I am, i thought maybe it was the third party app that messed up my reservation so I tried a different one. Upon arrival they had more “plumbing” issues that morning and were unable to accommodate my stay since the only thing available was a single bed room again I needed a room for 4 people. They didn't care to call earlier that day or contact the third party app and let me or them know they couldn't accommodate me instead they let me arrive and kick me out with no options, no solutions, and no compensation. The manager did not care about trying to help just brushed us off and disregarded our concerns. I have tried to give this place some chances but every time they disappoint. As far as amenities, there is no breakfast, has one elevator for the entire building, on entrance in the center and a hassle because thats where everyone come in and comes out, gym equipment is old, terrible ambiance and smell, room cleanliness is horrible there are always hairs in the bathroom. Save yourself bad experiences and find yourself another place to stay in the vicinity.

Worst experience with horrible customer service. The General Manager Willie Tennant provided me with Worst customer service ever. Willie Tennant is very rude and unprofessional. He made a simple situation escalate instead of using conflict resolution skills. Living in Conyers for many years I have never encountered such rude and unprofessional behavior. Due to unprofessional behavior I took pictures of my room before leaving because I DO NOT Trust Willie Tennant. Another guest heard me complaining about Willie and they too also have had issues with his unprofessionalism of Willie Tennant. While staying at this location the elevator was broken periodically and I was located on the 4th floor, therefore; prepare to walk. Also, one morning I woke up to half of Conyers police outside. This location is no different from the suites on 138. When it comes to crime. Don't let the appearance fool you. Let's not talk about the smell of Marijuana that pollutes the hallways and elevator. The side door on the property is broken as a result, anyone can enter the building. This is a safety violation and you be cautious if you have kids or your a female alone guest. The location is already in an isolated area. Be cautious!!!!!! I will be contacting the office of Bruce Haase the CEO of WoodSpring Suites and the Choice Hotel. Then contacting Conyers Representative.
