I was nervous about staying here because some of the reviews I had read. But our room was clean, the people were very nice, no problem with anyone else everything was quiet and peaceful. The only problem we had was I went to sit on the bed and it slid on the floor 😆. You Just have to sit down a little slowly. But I would definitely stay again.
After leaving another well known motel that was so disappointing, this one was so appreciated. Especially the staff, Megan, Sam and Chris are so friendly and helpful, I wish I could stay longer. The place was clean and I felt safe. If I am ever traveling through Abilene again, I will definitely stay again. 5 Stars in all aspects!!
Please save yourself the headache and go to another hotel. Rates are NOT as advertised. The stay was an extended one. Paid for a full month, have receipts showing paid for that time period and was locked out of room after 16 days and told you owe money and if you want to continue to stay you must pay more money. Charged credit card additionally without permission. Never received a return call from Manager Michelle. And also refused contact information for additional management. Witnessed multiple other people experiencing the exact same thing, paid for a month and locked out/kicked out after a couple of weeks stay. In 16 days the only linens received were one set of sheets. Yet printed receipt from front desk shows daily charges for linens that were never received. How are you charging money for a service that was not provided? That is THEFT!!! Shocked that a business can get away with this. Our family travels all over the country for work and have never experienced this. I’m so sorry to all of you who work away from home and family and have been locked out of your room and kicked out of the hotel you paid for. Also spoke with Corporate, they gave me a case id number and said you have to deal with manager from hotel. So really, no help from them at all. Will be pursuing complaints with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, and Texas State Attorney General. You should not be able to steal from people with zero consequences.
Great place if you want to be in a trashy hotel full of losers who hang out in the hallways all day long, including degenerates who blare music and tv at 2 am during weekdays. Think you'll only use the room for sleep? Good luck. Can't do that either. Try complaining and nothing happens, so don't waste your time.
After an awful stay at a different hotel, Alex at the front desk was the best blessing we could have asked for. She was very friendly and helpful. One of the best check in experiences I've had at a hotel!
UPDATE: They charged us twice, of course…other reviews talk about this happening. I’m telling you, don’t go to this location
The price for an indoor room is good. But with that price comes what you’re thinking. We arrive and all employees are outside smoking with 4 groups of people waiting at 3:00pm (checkin time). 3:15 they stumble on in…and then it begins
No no, you guys get your smoke in, we’ll just wait 🤦🏻♂️ …Once they came in, then the couple in front of me got into a major fight with the manager (not super professional), who, for some reason scheduled her vacation during ACU graduation but showed up cause they were short staffed I guess (couldn’t believe that one).
Of course, no one’s online booking worked. Excuses were made, but had to have a room for ACU graduation. If you don’t care about the service or quality, this is for you. But definitely the definition of “you get what you pay for.”
You were warned…
5 months later manager kicked me out for making a subtle complaint about a noisy dog.
I don’t ask for much, hotels are expected to provide a certain level of service and hospitality to their guests, so if you feel that your experience is not up to par then it is perfectly acceptable for you to voice your concerns, not kicked out and denied refund for the remanding paid days.
They have now overcharged me $600 after staying there for an extended period of time. Michelle did nothing to try to solve the problem. I’m going to be filing a small claims lawsuit against this hotel if they do not reimburse me for there extra charges. They aren’t picking up their phone and Michelle the general manager has been useless and rude. They also never came to clean the room in the 2 months I was there.
Stopped overnight here with 2 young kids as part of a long road trip. Everything was perfectly clean & very comfortable, staff were kind. I've had issues getting a pack n play at other hotels in the past, but this location was wonderful about it -- I
