Woodridge Public Library - Public library in Woodridge - 3 Plaza Dr, USA

I come here to borrow books, use study room or print documents. Folks are always helpful with any questions. It's a clean library and easily accessible with ample parking space.

This is a small library. I came as soon as they opened and there were already other people inside. There is still a lot of good seating despite the size. The assistant at the computer desk asked if I needed any help since I was wandering around. Surprisingly, you can rent out the group study rooms even if you don't have a library card! You can reserve a room with just your driver's license or student ID. They have different sized rooms starting from 1 person to 6 person rooms. You can rent them out for 3 hours at a time and you can call in advance to book it as well! The children's section is on the second floor. I can imagine this library being loud in the evenings.

It is what a library is supposed to be! Books, newspapers, CDs, DVDs (good selection of old age new including fairly recent released), Blu rays, this library has (with card) free streaming music online, free video games with free play available (big flat screen with wireless headphones to use while playing games) inside the library, 7 rentable private rooms (can reserved up to a week in advance for 3 hours), AMAZING children's Dept with storytime for infants to kindergartners, family movie time on Fridays, interesting game nights for adults, STAFF is really helpful, lots of activities for our SENIOR CITIZENS (knitting for all ages, book club, fishing groups, tutors for special needs children), English classes and computer workshops offered, vending machines that accept credit cards, art exhibit featuring new ones each month (few pieces of the art can also be bought), available motor scooter for handicapped CITIZENS to use while in the library, also available is self check out kiosks (children love to use this feature, yup it's that simple), lots of open space for you to relax and read your favorite book you have been wanting to for a while and I just can't STOP raving about this place. I LOVE MY LIBRARY !!! The children's Dept is on the second floor all by itself. Lots of puzzles, toys, board games, Lego area, computers for elementary children, my son (3yr old) can spend hours here and still would not want to go home! It's the nicest and the kindest staff you would want working at a library.

Be very careful working here, because Woodridge Library is often changing positions of their employees without even bothering to notify them. Such was the case for Woodridge Library Maintenance Technicians specifically, who were hired as ones by Keith Henderson, yet suddenly with no notice they became Janitors and Custodians after Keith's departure, all due to new management changes. Sudden job position changes with no notice or employee consent should be illegal. Absolute shame on Patricia Naisbitt and Pamela Dube specifically for allowing such unethical practices. This Library is truly great to its Woodridge Community, yet very deceitful and unethical when it comes to its own employees.

This is such a welcoming library, for work, kids, and activities. I am always super impressed with all that they are offering and the workspaces and room reservations. The staff is always professional, helpful, and friendly.

I love to go here. It’s a great place with nice workers I go here almost every day and enjoy it every time (I’m not a nerd say it all you want bro but I’m not)

This place is perfect for reading, taking the kids upstairs is always unwinding. All the activities are planned and executed in a fun and enriching way. Miss Liz and Miss Kate are the best assets to this Library!

I don't remember his name unfortunately, but the gentleman in the computer services area was so friendly and attentive. I told him I had never been there before, and I didn't know if I needed a library card to use the computers or printers. He explained how to sign in, and how to use the printers as well as their charging 10 cents per page. He checked on me twice to see if I had any questions or needed help signing out at the end. I'm pretty tech savvy, but it was still really nice that he wanted to see if I had questions and if he could help. He smiled (under his mask) and said 'have a good day!' with a very friendly tone. Great customer service!!!
