I was surprised by the lack of children for such a cute little playground. Sounds like there is a summer camp inside the rec center. A nice quiet little place with basketball too.
Loved our walk here. Great trail along Alligator creek, approximately 2.75 miles loop. Great dog park and play scape. Definitely coming back. Dog friendly
A nice little playground that is kind of hidden in the back of the park. There is a mix of newer and older equipment. Most of the equipment has shade canopies, and it is partially fenced in, although it doesn't cover nearly enough of the playground. It would be nice to have it fully fenced in with a childproof gate.
It was just a quick trip, but my kids enjoyed it, and we'd probably stop by again if we are in the area.

It’s the best park in Venice! Nice scenery and has the best nature trails you can get. I recommend anyone to go here!

Dirty, not cleared up after hurricane Ian, small dog park very little shade, staff rude. I go there now as it is pretty empty due to the above, and it has shade in the large dog park!
