I really enjoyed my first time here! Overall I give Woodland a 4 star. The vibes were amazing and the DJ brought back so many fun memories. The mimosa’s were right on time. Whew! As for the food..I only ordered the chicken and waffles which were great and some wings. My husband and I went for brunch but we do plan on coming back here with friends. Shout out to Naomi… she was very professional and courteous.

So first off i had reservations for 8pm didn't sit til after 9pm . Then when we finally sat down a waitress didn’t come for about 30 mins to even offer water .. When we finally got food some of the group steaks was raw when we asked for medium well , They ran out of mashed potatoes and the red snapper had fish scales still on it . Even tho the staff customer service is bad The assistant manager Malik was very helpful and accommodating. This location needs more training .

Oooohhhhhh Woodland..... I came with my sister for Brunch yesterday, MLK Monday, and I can say somethings just haven't changed. Arrived for brunch and the young woman took our information at the front desk, and as per usual, they were packed. Packed like sardines packed. She told us it would 30-45 minutes for a table. After over an hour, we went to check on our table and she says she's been calling us and we told her, 'No you haven't, we have no missed call.' Reviewed her notes, she'd been calling the wrong number and we had to wait another 20 minutes for a table. Finally gets seated, our waiter walks past us informing us, "he's our waiter" like bro what?! Anyhow, after 15 minutes, he came back, and took our entire order. He didn't tell us the mimosa was flavored because when we got them we were confused. It looked like pee in a cup. It wasn't until we asked the other waitress, " what mimosas are these" and she told us their apple flavored. All in all, we ended up having a good time and ASK FOR LUIS. OMG that man is an ANGEL! He's the sweetest, most attentive and amazing person on staff. He kept the drinks coming and coming AND WE DIDNT HAVE TO FLAG HIM DOWN !

Tried to go for brunch on my birthday weekend. Their process is a mess. I don’t understand how they expect people to wait in the tiny bar area for hours. They need to just take reservations for brunch. Everyone also doesn’t want to be around a whole bunch of drunk people getting bumped while “waiting”. I ended up going somewhere else after waiting 35 minutes !

I went here this past Saturday for brunch and it was the WORST brunch expierence . They do not take reservations for brunch, my group and I got there at 1 pm and did not get seated until after 3:15 pm after repeatedly kept pushing back the original “45 minute” wait time. When we finally got seated we were told mimosas were 90 minutes and not allowed to share. Six people from my group did the unlimited mimosas, however “ new woodland” does not give pitchers. They give you mimosa in a baby small glass and it’s only one at a time , so you have to wait for the waitress to come back and refill your glass , which is not unlimited . Lastly I ordered the chicken and waffles, food came out fairly quick and when I cut into my chicken it was pink . I sent the food back and ordered something else but at this pint I was already annoyed. For a rebrand of woodland this was not a good exoierence , the new venue is not that much bigger and I will not be returning. You can get better food, better service and good vibes at so many other options in Brooklyn . New woodland is not it!

Despite the reopening and new location it’s still the same poor service unfortunately. Went for brunch where they don’t take reservations after a long wait and horrible service from the maitre d was beyond rude and full of attitude. The food was just okay, the oxtail Mac n cheese and rum punch was good. Only great thing about our time there was the Dj/atmosphere.

Very nice spot to chill and grab some late night food and drinks. Even on a Sunday night. Good amount of people but not so much that you felt uncomfortable eating. Music was kinda loud but that's too be expected. Food was great. Chicken was moist, drink was strong and the desert was amazing!!!!

Our reservation was for 7:30. Please beleive me when I say, you must have your entire party present before they seat you. One of our members didn't arrive until 8:45, we weren't seated until 9:10, and we were a party of 11, and the table was only set for 9. 2 of us were standing until a couple next to us left so we could add the table. The waitress informed us she didn't want to start our tab until The other 2 were finally seated because there's a "2-hour limit," which sounded like some applesauce to me because we were originally waiting for a table on the upper level that was also a larger party, that had absolutely exceeded The 2 hour time limit, I guess people will tell you whatever story they'd like. The price point for the food is very fair, and you get a good sized portion. I wish there were more vegetarian main course options vs. salad and apps. I loved the music selection, but if your hoping to actually talk to the people at the table your with, your better off winning the lotto. It's kind of like going to a club that has a full service menu.
