I always enjoy coming to these place. I love the lake and relaxing walks around... Beautiful place!
Beautiful neighborhood trail. Great for walking, running, and taking kids out in a stroller. Parts of the trail wind around a lake. We saw lots of turtles and ducks.
Pure gentleness and serenity... only 3mn from Southpoint... Perfect little loop to walk in 15mn or so... Enjoy ❤️
After I drove there, found multiple signs for residents only and No Trespassing.
Perfect place for stroller kids. There's a small playground and it's all paved. There's some small uphills and downhills and very few bikes.
It is a pleasant 1 mile walk around the lake. Fellow walkers are always pleasant. In areas sheltered from wind, the view from across the lake is mirrored on the still water. A few waterfowl are present: mallards, Canada geese, great blue heron, and cormorants. A few of the early spring flowers have begun to emerge.
Nice lake and trails around it. I enjoyed my run there. It was peaceful It seems that the trails cover a good distance. I found an easy connection to the American Tobacco trail outside of this neighborhood.
Awesome trail! It's almost completely flat, and the loop is exactly 1 mile. Great scenery as well with the lake
I enjoy taking my kids here to explore and play in the river. Bring water shoes if you plan on going in. The rocks are very slippery and painful. There are shallow areas for young kids and deeper areas for bigger kids. Yes, there are snakes along
Such a peaceful place to stroll after a long day of work. Parking and access are a breeze. We loved the trail to the right of the entrance with itâs different ecosystems. The paths are easy to walk and very well kept. Lola -my dog- and I had a wond
Just played at the opening day of the 12 court pickleball facility. The courts are great to play on and many thanks to the DPR staff and DAPP members involved for making these courts available for the community!
My 3 year old daughter loves this park. The playground went through a nice renovation. There is plenty of shade around the playground and nice track to go for a push bike ride.
they have an 18-hole disc golf course. it's a pretty long course, and has some fairly challenging sections. probably not the best course for beginners, although there are a couple of holes like #10 that are fairly straightforward and not too long fr
Beautiful, newly renovated park., Lots of space between sites. Most sites are full shade except a few in loop B 48 and up are on an open hill near the playground. Clean facilities and well maintained utilities and services.
It's a nice spacious park. Getting there takes you thru a neighborhood. There's two lakes, each on one side (hence the name Twin Lakes). As you continue back, there's a small park, and if you keep going a field (a soccer field, I believe).
First time ever trying Szechuan Mansion Hotpot the food was amazing. The staff was amazing and helps explain everything to me and my husband. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend, if you looking for great customer service and food this is the place for yo
This is a surprise a community orientated business that really has got it right. Helping Durham's diverse community have a voice. Definitely go in have a coffee grab a pastry and enjoy the smiles and the boost to your self-esteem in the morning you h
Absolutely love this place! Came for the first time today and the woman there (not sure if she was an owner) was incredibly nice! The Taiyaki were delicious! Fluffy waffle dough and the fillings were not too sweet. Delicious drinks, she even gave all
I've been going to The Method for five months. Jackson is my trainer and he's great - super knowledgeable and encouraging. All the trainers here seem cool though...there is always a good vibe in the place. I went from having zero strength training ex
Excellent tap room. One of the most inviting environments. Great beer selection and amazing staff. Eden the manager is a delight and is super knowledgeable. They have daily/weekly events and live music and itâs super pet friendly! 10/10
I know it sounds silly, but this place changed my life. Burn Boot Camp. North Durham is unlike any other gym. Want a place to work out? This is your place. Need trainers to tell you what to do? This is your place. Need childcare for your kiddos while
Nestled within the heart of Duke University's sprawling campus, the majestic Duke Chapel stands as a testament to both architectural grandeur and spiritual reverence. As I ascended the steps leading to its colossal doors, the awe-inspiring beauty of
It was an amazing, fun activity to do with friends. A staff member will spend around 10 minutes with each person for training how to throw an axe. I would recommend at least an hour for this activity. Reservations are needed, and walk-ins are only av
Very clean space! Great food - very flavorful! I like spice, so I would say this was mild/medium spicy on the spice level for me personally. Everything was cooked well and the naan is made fresh. The service was quick and the portions are a great dea
Great place. The only place in the area with daytime classes during those 9 to 5 hours. As far as I can tell it's the most active place where you can just walk in and get some work in based on having too much energy which is often what prompts me t
