We attended a wedding there recently. The bar created long lines for beverages. The food quality of the dinners served was excellent. The serving of the meals was very slow taking over an hour to get the room served. This facility suffers from not enough staff to handle the demands of a function.

We recently attended a wedding here and were originally planning to stay for two nights. We ended up coming home early because we were very uncomfortable with the cleanliness of their accommodations. We spent our first night in a cabin and the second night in the main hotel. Both included stained bedding, dusty floors, and we even found a fingernail left on a nightstand. The staff were helpful to find us the second room, but we felt so uncomfortable we could not stay.

Went with my Wife and as the Best Man for a friend’s Wedding. The Catering and overall Wedding experience was very satisfying. But, if they put half of the energy into the Inn itself as they do into the Wedding aspect of the stay, then this bad review you are about to read would not be here.|First of all, the Main Inn rooms are overpriced walk-in closets. Seriously, 200$ a night with a 2 night minimum is thievery. The rooms are tiny, and that’s no exaggeration. Shower heads need some CLR dunking and should be cleaned. Our TV was broken and the remote had 2 different types of batteries in it. That alone speaks volumes on the management care of this place, I mean for the love of god buy some batteries! My first morning I was shocked to find a dirty coffee filter in my Coffee Maker in the room. How long that was there is unknown so I did not use it, and I drove to a Coffee Shop at 5am, I mean WTF right!? Breakfast was supposed to be 7-9am. Not my first morning. 7:45 I think it started. And although it was good, it was disappointing to have to wait until almost 8am for a coffee because there is none in the Lounge either as there is nobody overnight at the front desk. Upon our checkout I wished to let the front desk know of all the disappointments, nobody was there. A Sunday morning when people check out and nobody is on duty. WOW! |Look, I live in NH, I know what to expect when dealing with Inns, I’ve stayed in plenty. But this place sucks for a stay. They put on great Weddings, but do not stay at the Inn. Not worth it. They have inexperienced staff and poor management.

Room was SO dirty. Bug on pillow, grass in bed, someone else’s hair as well as stained sheets 🤮 floors had a thick layer of dust in some areas if room. By the time I went to get into bed no one was at the desk. Drove home (1hr 40mins) to drive back up the next day which was the whole reason I booked a room was to avoid the drive. I highly suspect there is a 2 night minimum at booking because many people wouldn’t want to stay a second night. 🥴 By the time I hit back up for the wedding I was going to I couldn’t catch a desk person without being in ear shot if other wedding guests. I obviously didn’t want to cause an issue on the bride abs grooms big day. I emailed woodbound inn and didn’t even get the courtesy of a response. Extremely disappointing experience.

Front desk staff was not helpful at all. We asked for an extra pillow and the woman said she didn’t have any and then said she didn’t know where they were and that she’d leave a note for the person working tomorrow. Not helpful at all and not very welcoming. Place was cute but the room wasn’t exactly comfortable.

This is a perfect little Inn done well very helpful . Delicious breakfast very clean .My only complaint was the bed .the bed was clean and made up the issue was my side of the sloped off and I felt like I was going to roll out of bed 😂 other that that a great place to stay

Went to a nice Wedding here. Things could have been better. For most people once the got into the parking area they had no idea they had to walk do a wooded path to the beach where the ceremony was being held, or for people who had trouble walking, were not told they could drive up the road a bit and drive down to ceremony. No signs, No one to direct people. The building was in need of repairs, the food not so great, flavorless for BBQ fare, chicken not fully cooked, canned beans, the cornbread was Fantastic! 1 to 10, I would give it a 4 3/4. Watch your footing on the wrap around deck outside if you are going to the upcoming festival of food there. Missing and lose boards. Restroom was clean.

Great location. Assume staff. Food was excellent. Married here 11 years ago!!! Come to visit 3 to 4 tmes a year.
