Wonton Guy 云吞佳 in Edison impresses with its emphasis on ample portions. The wontons, slightly larger than usual, boast a cute plumpness, generously filled with shrimp, delivering a delicious experience. The dumplings offer a delightful chewiness and a refreshing taste from a mix of shiitake mushrooms, wood ear fungus, and radish. The beef brisket, perfectly textured and accompanied by a rich broth, adds a well-balanced savory note to the meal. The flavorful and aromatic soup base enhances the overall dining experience. The fish balls, while having a good fish flavor, carry a slight fishiness. Although the chicken egg noodles lack desired elasticity, Wonton Guy stands out for its Hong Kong-style wonton noodles, capturing the essence of authentic flavors in a satisfying manner.

Authentic Hong style wonton place with fast service and great food. Arrived here asking noon on a Saturday afternoon and waited around 5 minutes for a table. Once seated, we were quickly given tea and our menus. We all ordered the wonton noodles with egg noodles and curry fish balls. The curry on the fish balls was so rich and creamy, I wish I had some naan to do into the leftover sauce. The wontons were very big and filled with shrimp. Took about 4 bites to eat the wonton! I did find them a tad on the salty side though. Loved the noodles, they were bouncy and cherry at the same time. Service was the fastest ever! If you are looking for somewhere quick and easy, this is the place. Parking in the front is very tight but there is additional parking behind the building, which I recommend. Getting out of the front parking spots is a bit dangerous.

The restaurant was small with parking in front and back. The service was fast and the staff was professional. The dining area was small. We had wonton and fish balls egg noodle soup, wonton lo mein with flat rice noodle and vegetables with oyster sauce. The wontons were delicious and each wonton contains a big shrimp. The soup base was very tasty. My egg noodle unfortunately didn’t soak up any flavor of the soup and was a bit bland. Next time I might try flat rice noodle instead. The lo mein came with a bowl of soup which was a nice touch.

Their noodles are delicious. Their wontons are the best. Their meat is marinated to perfection. This is the first time I willingly and wanted to go to the same restaurant twice in a row (dinner, then brunch then next day). Everyone who walked in the door had a smile of excitement that this location had finally opened - and I see why. Glad they opened a location in Edison NJ.

Taste is very closed to Hong Kong style wonton noodle restaurant in Hong Kong. The beef stew, noodle and fish skin are the best here.

The food was delicious and the inside was really clean. For side dishes, we ordered the Deep Fried Fish Skin and Curry Fish Balls. Both were amazing but the curry fish balls are especially great! I ordered the soup with sliced beef and dumplings. The beef is SO soft and I'll definitely come back again.

My family and I went there for the wonton noodles, flat rice noodles, and fried crispy fish skin. My dad is Cantonese so it brought back a lot of good memories for him. The shrimp wontons were huge and expertly made and crispy fish skins soaked in the homemade broth was so tasty. Weve tried many spots in New York and this is by far the best and most authentic wonton noodles we've had on the US East Coast. The service and atmosphere was also excellent. Normally we have to go to Toronto to try authentic Cantonese wonton noodles but this is now our new go-to spot!
