The hike itself was about 3 miles. The whole climb is an incline and it offers very beautiful views of Los Angeles on the way up and at the end you’ll see behind the Hollywood sign, and the infamous “wisdom tree”. I would recommend to come when there aren’t many people because the path is so narrow, it could be hard to climb up and walk down. On the way down, it is very slippery so I also recommend hiking boots or shoes with some grip.
Gorgeous views of LA! The walk is a bit strenuous. Give yourself a couple of hours. We went near sunset and it was stunning.
Short hike but pretty steep and not a lot of shade. Worth it for the exercise as well as the great mountain and skyline views!
The Wisdom Tree in Los Angeles refers to a lone pine tree atop Cahuenga Peak in Griffith Park. It became known as the "Wisdom Tree" after surviving a wildfire in 2007, symbolizing resilience. The tree has become a popular hiking destination, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles. Visitors often leave notes and tokens at the tree, creating a unique trailside tribute. It has become a symbol of hope and inspiration for those who make the trek to reach it.
Challenging hike with a beautiful finish line. It’s harder going up versus down. Bring plenty of water and slap on some sunscreen
Small but mighty! This is a beautiful hike, great way to get an amazing view of the cities that make Los Ángeles beautiful. Even though the hike is not that long, mile wise, you will take a while due to the condition of the trail. Most of the trail, I would say around 80%, has a steep angle. You’re going very high in a short amount of time. Not only are you hiking a steep incline but the trail is filled with rocks and uneven steps so if you have back, leg, or ankle issues I would rethink this hike. (Ill post some pictures to show the terrain) Los Ángeles is a beautiful city but it also has wildlife, be cautious. You are in an area where there’s coyotes, rattlesnakes, other types of snakes and other critters. Keep your distance and they will leave you alone. If you reach The Wisdom Tree and you have more energy I suggest you keep going and make your way to the Hollywood Sign. This hike is very popular so on weekends it will get packed. There’s plenty of parking at the bottom. I suggest hiking during the week or early in the morning on weekends. Parking opens up at 6am. There’s a gate blocking the road at the end of the street but don’t worry, just go around it. That’s it, it’s a beautiful short hike that will leave you breathless because of the view and the steepness. Enjoy!
Depends on which trail you take, it can be very short or very long. We started in a picnic area and it took us 8miles, 2000ft elevation (incl. the Hollywood sign and the peaks) to get here. So little shade, so take lots of water! Apply sunscreen and wear a hat 🙃
The tree is not so special but the view is great. It sits on the hilltop, halfway to the back of the Hollywood sign. The hiking is not too hard, but not easy. Be prepared, some parts are steep and better wearing hiking shoes. Worth to go up there and take a look.

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
