Wonderful hidden gem in the twin cities. We typically go to the more popular downtown lakes but decided to check this out today and we were not disappointed. Loved the trail around the worth lake and lots of opportunities to fish enjoy volleyball or just soak up the nature. We spotted lots of fish and turtles on the little bridge that was a lot of fun!!
Lots of trails, some steep ones in the wooded area. Easy trail around the lake.
I just can't get enough of this Lake. The facilities are really choice! If you go there, be sure to also visit Eloise Butler bird sanctuary right around the corner. The Quaking Bog is close by too.
Good fishing, sometimes there is a lot of people, but that should be expected. I fished for about 4 hours one day and caught 4 nice crappies and a bluegill to bring home for dinner, caught at least a 50-60 fish, including a 21 inch bass. The reason for the 2 stars.. The next time I returned myself and another gentleman fishing on the dock literally watched 3 teenage kids looking in our car windows and checking to see if the doors were locked... we started to approach them and they took off running. We could not believe they would even try it being we were only 100 feet from them. Its a nice place, but remember you are only 2 blocks from a bad neighborhood...I have only gone back when there are a lot of people around...Sad but true. Still the fishing is really good!
Beautiful park featuring fishing docks, interesting trails, free parking and plenty of picnic tables. Sunset on the lake is particularly fetching when veiwed from a nearby hill. Large pines dot the landscape and there is a community garden nearby. A porto potty has been provided for convenience (near the community garden) and a canoe rack was recently added. In summer, there is a youth program that takes over the lower portion of the park, but there remains a great deal of open space to explore and hike.
Small but family-friendly and somewhat rustic city beach. Next to playground and large, popular picnic area. Very social for a Minneapolis park/lake locale.
Wirth Park is one of the best features of North Minneapolis. Lakes and ponds and creeks... plenty if trails to get lost in. And lots of cool old growth trees.
Very nice area for a party, access to picnic tables, fishing, and barbaques, very nice scenery, it was a wonderful first birthday party for my granddaughter

They have a drinking fountain! Picnic tables and benches are also out in the open. They also have a playground with regular swings, a baby swing, slides, tunnels, a spinning ride that kind of looks like the tilt a whirl at the state fair, as well as
This was such a fun experience. Any age would love it. It did not matter we had an odd number of people. They totally made it even. Our group had a great time. The host pictured and Amelia were awesome and it really felt like we were on a game show.

Had my nieces's birthdays here on a Sunday. Good basic party room which was really nice to have as it was extremely busy. Could bring a cake and water. Price was reasonable for a two hour window and ten wristbands. It's hard to keep an eye on kids th
I need more of this pizza. The best part? Iâm a big fan of thinner pizza and this was just right for me. I loved the taste and I really enjoyed the crust. It didnât feel too soggy or too dry and was even better since it was coal fired. The cashie
I had only wished I found this place on the 1st day of my 9 day stay in the area instead of my last. I would have eaten here every day. It's not anywhere near any other restaurants or businesses really so you kind of need to be intentful to just make
Very cool and retro strip mall on Highway 55. Throwback to the 50's and '60's. Nice variety of shops including Down in the Valley, one of the few remaining Radio Shack stores, a pet store, barber shop, liquor store, dry cleaners, and many others. Ple
Every time I walk out of this place I canât stop saying how kind and friendly the staff is that works here! Great vibes, great people and the best service.
Nestled in the heart of Golden Valley, this bar emanates a comfortable and classic atmosphere, reminiscent of the region's charm. The wood-paneled walls and butcher block tables create a warm and inviting ambiance, accentuated by the subtle presence
