I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at The Winton Inn & Suites, and it was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong odor that can only be described as a combination of mildew and stale cigarettes. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or aired out in quite some time. Even though I had to wait for the room to be cleaned after the stated check-in time. The first thing that caught my attention was the state of the floors; they were dirty and sticky, making me hesitant to walk barefoot. The bed linens were no better – they were musty and full of dog hair.
I will never return to this bed bug infested roach hotel. Upon arrival, the furniture is sticky, the tv is broken, and the fridge and microwave are disgusting. The front office is unorganized and rude. It’s a 2 star hotel and it shows. Highly recommend going anywhere else.
It is an older facility but meticulously kept up. The owner was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The courtyard was a plus and the many bushes were very well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The manager was irate that I was in town for a local event, turned me away by shouting even though I had a fully paid reservation. Extremely rude and upset from the get go because of the event. He said he was turning away anyone else in town for the event as well. And then of course all the other hotels are full with customers for the event. Don’t waste your time!
I have never stayed here. I would however like to say to you all with such negative reviews, what did you expect for $64 a night and 2 stars? I travel constantly and always shell out $110 to around $200. And then they're pretty standard.

Positive: Not much to like the had bedbugs! I still have bug bites coming up. The dr said they will continue to show up even two weeks after being bitten. By far the best, cleanest, safest, and best customer service you will find anywhere in the area. I stayed an extended amount of time and it felt like home.
