I stayed here for the Rhythm & Blues Festival. I get that places mark up their prices but come on. The price was definitely not worth it. The room was very clean and spacious. It was pretty hot out so it was nice to check into a nice cool room. Staff seemed friendly from the limited interaction I had. Continental type breakfast was included. There was no pool or spa, they appear to have been taken partially apart and left to rust in view. Keep in mind, this is an older inn so you will hear your neighbors tv and, if downstairs, people walking upstairs. I wore earplugs which helped. Overall, not a bad stay just not worth the exorbitant prices for the weekend. It might have been worth it if the pool and spa were in working order or there were more updated features.
I've stayed at this Inn twice now and have had an enjoyable stay both times. Rooms are clean and smoke free. A lot of hotels/Inns I've stayed at before claim to have smoke free rooms but they are actually very smokey. Not the case here! They are truly smoke free which is fantastic for someone allergic to smoke. This is the main reason I chose to stay here again and not at a different location in town. The Inn is in a good location in town as well. Reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 star is due to slow internet. Might just be the location of the town, but when you're there for work and the Internet is so slow and keeps kicking you off, it's annoying and difficult to get work done. Internet aside... It's a very nice place to stay. Good prices, cozy, clean, smoke free, and friendly staff.
I've stayed twice here and would stay again. The bad: it is an older property and it is in need of restoration. The good: it is being restored, but one part at the time. Great location, a short walk to downtown, next to shopping, plenty of parking, clean, nice grass field, river access, and dog friendly, and very adorable. Extremely nice and friendly staff.
Great experience here. Keypad locks on the doors & the ability to show up after the office closes (6p) was great- we were in the park later than planned & were not able to notify the hotel because we didn’t have service. Rooms are basic, but had everything we needed- had great water pressure in the shower & were sound proof, couldn’t hear the dog next door. WiFi is slow, but still better than no service (the case in most places in this area). Basic breakfast- Gronola bars, bagel, fruit, cereal, waffle. I don’t think there is a pool- which was advertised online; lots of people looking/asking about this, but never saw it.
Good location with nice surrounding grounds. We did not have any pets but it was certainly evident it’s a pet friendly place. We lay on top of the beds for a rest and when we stood up we were COVERED in white dog hair. The comforter was definitely not washed 🤢 I don’t expect a lot from small town inn’s but a clean room is the bare minimum. We were very disappointed. We let the staff know the following morning as we checked out - she said she would inform the manager. We were hoping for an apology but heard nothing. I would not recommend this accommodation nor return. No one was at the office when we checked in - our room number & pin code was in an envelope attached the front of the office door. Convenient but not secure.
If I could give a 0 star review I would. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, being 3600 miles away and not knowing the roads. A forest fire had the roads closed 3 days prior to my reservation and because I didn’t cancel 4 days before I was refused a refund and ignored by emails from me and the booking agency until 1 month later. I advised the office manger that my booking agent had attempted to reach them and was waiting their response before they could issue a refund and they had not even responded to them a month later still no response she said I will give you a response it is NO. She also advised there is other roads into the hotel. Not being from the area and the internet saying no detours available we had no idea. I will never use this place and would not recommend it. Awful customer service and taking peoples money just shows what kind of business this is as well as shows exactly why the reviews here are so bad. Also, the phone number doesn’t even work.
Beautiful location, quiet. So far the best hotel we stayed with our little doggie.|Plenty of grass to run without restrictions.|We loved it. It is very close to the beautiful downtown with western charm, easy walk to the river. The grocery store is just few steps away.
Pet friendly & clean. The only thing that was odd was I had called ahead to confirm their close time (6pm) showed up at 430pm and no one was there. Our room info including the door code was on their door in an envelope, Which anyone brave enough could have snagged. They wanted us to sign a copy and bring it back in the morning. The only problem with this is we were leaving well before their office opened and I did not have a pen on me. So I had to leave their form unsigned. Other then that I did not have concerns and it was very nice and clean.
The best! We booked last minute and got a great tent site, right on the lake with a small beach! What more could a #130 Malamute ask for? Bathrooms were clean and accessible, parking was easy and crowd was pleasant and quiet. I must admit, the night
