I was a member until Covid but signed up again this month. I like the functional strength training room and expanded free weight equipment. But what happened to the towels in the locker room?

If you’re looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend Fabio Ferrera at the Winter Park YMCA. He zeroed in on the areas I was most concerned with and suggested sound yet novel ways of helping me with my posture and a bad knee, among other things. He really thinks about you between appointments and brings ideas to continually challenge you. And yet, he’s lighthearted and actually makes it fun to work out.

Nice family location. Clean and friendly. Has family changing rooms. In the adult changing rooms they have a wet and dry sauna. Both changing rooms have really nice showers. They have multiple basketball courts, a lap pool, and a family splash pad. Love coming here :) ❤

This property is owned by the Winter Park YMCA and located in the Eastbrook subdivision. They refuse to maintain it and the over growth is taking over the surrounding personal properties. Wildlife are finding refuge there and digging under the adjacent fenced in homes and creating a new set of issues. We have respectfully requested several times that they come clear it. and they have simply just refuse. So while you may enjoy the facilities they maintain, imagine living next to this. 😡😡

Heads up, this was summer of 2022 so maybe it has gotten better because they also were going through swimming class management changes at the time. The actual facility was great but the swimming lessons were hooorrible. Taught by young kids that's don't know how to teach kids. There were 2 teachers that were great (raphaela and another girl like fallon or something) but we never got them again. I didn't even go to the last class (for my 4 year old daughter fyi) because it was a waste of time/money.

Great place to workout. I began working out a few weeks ago and the YMCA has been awesome. I began working with a personal trainer Fabio he has been a great insperation. I have had personal trainers in the past but Fabio has absolutely hands down been the best. It is very clear that he knows what he is doing, and I am greatful.

Im taking my autistic son to swimming lessons and I have to say Amina is an amazing Instructor ❤️ and also want to thank Art for his time in explaining everything to me about the membership Thank you 🙏
