For local hunters and outdoor enthusiasts! The Winslow WMA is large, well stocked and easy to hunt in.
I loved this area! But there’s one drawback— the sheer number of hunters made it some unsafe! It’s important to pick days when there are fewer hunters in the woods.
I am fortunate enough to live across the street from this gem. Winter, spring, summer and fall I do not take this gift for granted.
Nice drive in the woods. Dirt roads are relatively easy to navigate. Peaceful and quiet.
Not what I was expecting based on reviews. I thought there would be more to do and a longer walk with the kids after breakfast. Instead it was about 2 to 3 half mile paths. Great for wildlife, awful for anything else like hiking, exploring, trail walking ect.
Call the 18 to 20-in catfish this morning weighed between 4 and 4 and 1/2 lb.. got to get out early by 9:00 lake was dead no bites

I took one of my grandkids coyote hunting for a few hours near an old quarry, the woods are beautiful and the lake views were great.
We didn't see any game animals but since she is seven years old and active I didn't expect to.
The area is diverse with hardwood forests, pine trees and some swampy areas as well.
Although the place is for hunting many people enjoy hiking in the area, but one should be aware of the hunting season's for the safety of all who use the area and show respect for the others in the woods.
Its a nice place to go.

If you have not been ,you are missing a wonderful fun day. All the food outside is from LOCAL vendors and is wonderful. Free admission, 30.00 ride all you want bands, games. Just go they have been doing it for over 140 years and it shows.

Beautiful old school diner vibes. We got seated immediately around 2p on a Sunday afternoon. The portion sizes are more than generous, especially the 10oz burgers. I got the half rack ribs with salad, broccoli and coleslaw. The ribs were very juicy.
The Goodwill store. Very nice staff. I have no idea. How they are able to do so much. It's amazing. They put in a lot of time and effort. The people who work there are dedicated.
