Winnie’s Bar - Karaoke bar in New York - 58 E Broadway 2nd fl, USA

This is the best karaoke bar in New York City and it’s not even close. The bartenders are the best the music choices endless. This is my favorite bar of all of New York City. The vibes are always great. I’ve had so many wonderful memories here!! This place truly is very special to my heart. Love it !!!

Fun karaoke spot with friends. There’s a minimum of 2 drinks to sing and I think $1 per song for tips. The security guy was a bit rude but it’s his job to check so it’s whatever. I was holding my bag for him to check, he yanked at my bag for me to let go instead of just verbally telling me to let go… like okay…. Our group was able to secure a booth for all 10 of us to sit, so that was fun. The bar was crowded and got even more crowded past midnight. We ordered Tequila shots, jager bombs, fruity drinks. We put some song requests on and sang. At times, our songs got stolen by other people and can get a little rowdy. It was a fun experience none the less.

Tipped the guy .9 cents on a 13.1 drink to round out to 14.00 instead of the usual 1 dollar that I tip. Dude at the bar was super rude and didn't let me play me song that a put a 1 tip gratuity on. Ignored me for the longest time, then got my second round of drinks and when I pointed out that he picked up everyone's song requests but my own he said (rudely) "You only tipped me .90", Made me cry in the bathroom, he was that rude.

i feel bad leaving this review on a chinatown bar as a chinese person but i work in the service industry so i also fully know how customer service and tipping works. sadly i had experience with a rude bartender last month (i was warned before even coming the bartenders could be rude by a friend who lives around the corner) so i took a photo of my receipt where i wrote very clearly my tip + total before i left. i recently checked my credit card and they charged me extra on the tip.. extremely sketchy and unprofessional

This isn’t actually a review I just left my jacket there tonight and nobody’s picking up the phone. Voicemail isn’t set up either so. It’s cranberry red hoodie material with a folded collar and fuzzy lining. Cropped. Let me know if you guys have it— it’s not a flattering coat in shape but I do love the little thing a lot.

Really great neighborhood bar that has friendly and welcoming vibes. I don’t usually like to karaoke but I felt so comfortable here that I sang multiple songs. Bartenders were really fun and sang a few songs with us. Bring cash for the songs! But they do have an atm if you forget.

I really want to like this place since the owner is so nice but the way we were treated was not okay. They don’t have a bouncer checking ID’s so instead a bartender yells at you like they think you’re stupid until you realize they are calling you. Listen I live here and have for a very long time. I go to Chinatown a lot…no one has ever checked ID’s like that. Also the bartender that everyone else is mentioning in reviews is just mean. He treated us like children and spoke down to me like I was an idiot. I was being very nice, I was even bussing our table so he wouldn’t be mad and he still found something to reprimand me for. Half the time the mic didn’t work other times the same songs were just playing on repeat because no one was paying attention. I won’t be going back but I do understand the charm of the place. Oh ALSO the air con does not work I was so sweaty by the time we left.

Go here if you want to be harassed and bullied by the bartender in the tank top over the mic AFTER tipping. They will take your money and will ensure you don’t sing because they’re busy badgering you on the mic while your song is on. The entitlement is unbelievable.
