Great playground set up. They have 5 different play sets. 3 for smaller kids 2 to 5. They are a bit worn down. But still good. One for bigger kids up to 12 or so but it's worn as well. A bus to play in and a jeep type car. 2 sets of swing sets. A big flower garden. Walking trails that are very woodsy. A blue playset that is newer and for 2 to 5 ish age. Also a gazebo and bathrooms are always open. They also have picnic areas and grill areas. Good park for hot days as it is very shaded.
A beautiful place near a ball feild. We absolutely loved the old house structure, great for taking photos. This place has a awesome setup children to play on the playground. There is also a Welcome Center which is pretty neat, although they were closed when we were there. Free parking...
Nice, clean park with awesome park trails to walk. Me and my daughter love it. Get to see so many lizards that are fun to catch.
Great park for the kids. Nice and mostly shaded so it's not really hot during the middle of the day. Good selection of money bars and slides to choose from.
Trails are poorly marked. Definitely an after thought of the area. Not easy to find your way through them. My partner and I ended up having to give up and back track on the trail that we picked to walk.
A little bit secluded meaning not a lot of people could see you down if you possibly needed assistance. A random guy that told me he was just out of prison came by. Not the parks fault at all. Just the location. My son had a blast though. Next time down to a Hickory Crawdads game will make time so they can play again.
