What an amazing experience! From start to finish it was such a pleasure dealing with the friendly and helpful staff at Wings Airways! The flight over the glaciers to the lodge is not to be missed! A true bucket list experience. We felt completely safe in the plane and the headphone narrative made the spectacular scenery even more meaningful. At the Lodge, we met the friendly staff who really cared about their jobs and ensuring that we had a fantastic experience. We thought the salmon bake meal was excellent and we had all comforts of home including beer and wine. The whole afternoon was very well done, not touristy feeling and top notch in every way. Highly recommend and well worth it for the uniqueness of the total experience!!

My Norwegian cruise excursion was canceled at the last minute, helicopter ride to a glacier, I was so disappointed! A quick ride into town and my excursion was replaced with the plane ride across glaciers then salmon lunch at the Taku lodge, and I couldn't have been happier. I just wish I could live at that lodge!! Highly recommend this experience. The food was fantastic, the plane ride wonderful.

This was an amazing trip. Our pilot, John, was wonderful and the flight carries you over 5 glaciers. There are no words to describe the beauty. Taku Lodge is breathtaking and the salmon lunch was delicious. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend this trip!

One of the best excursions on our Alaska adventures. Amazing views from the airplane and a wonderful, very informative recording played while flying. Taku Lodge was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful. The small hike was fun and had a pretty waterfall. The lodge was so quaint and the food was fantastic. The people were all so very friendly and informative. Everyone in our group agreed this was the best excursion on the trip!

We had our helicopter ride to the Glacier for dog sledding cancelled due to poor visibility so made a quick swap to this trip knowing nothing about it. We couldn’t have been more delighted. Everything from the superb flight and informative comments to the amazing Taku Lodge with its delicious meal and idyllic setting. We will never forget this experience and cannot recommend this enough. If you get a chance do it!

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. We Did the wings airway 5 glaciers tour and it was incredible. The flight was a bit bumpy as it’s an incredible 10 seat sea plane but it was well built and in great condition. The pilot was great and the route was immaculate. I cannot stress enough how incredible it was to see glaciers! It’s a sight everyone should experience - it really puts into perspective exactly how powerful glaciers are and why fjords look the way they do. 10/10 experience!

We recently did the 5-Glacier Seaplane Exploration and it was spectacular. The flight was one of the highlights of our trip, and so worth it. We were also very impressed with the communication with Wings Airways. We booked independently because we preferred the times offered to the ones offered by our cruise, and Wings Airways were extremely helpful and professional. On the day, we got a call telling us that they had to cancel our flight due to poor weather, but offered to rebook us for later in the day, should the weather clear up. Thankfully the weather did get better and we could fly - what a great experience! We highly recommend the trip!
