Wingate Heritage Inn - Hotel in Bellingham - 151 McLeod Rd, USA

If you could have someone who is more available at the front desk would be nice. This place is almost perfect. With some touches i would recommend company conferences here. Has a fun summer camp vibe. Suggestion: new shower curtain holder (is coming off wall and curtains fall immediately to middle of bar), more power outlets and make outlets that are available actually work, and fresher or more cooked breakfast (i have never eaten textured eggs before, i could actually taste it had been out for a while and was sort of hard to bite into). Those are my suggestions. If you fix this i would upgrade my rating.

Was stay for a few months for a business. No kitchenet or on-site laundry. For the first week the internet was down. I work nights and it was often the showers would go cold after 10 AM or 2 PM. Bed was very comfortable. Often enough could hear other quests through walls.

Can't recommend for anyone to stay here. The walls are paper thin -- we heard neighbors from all the way down the hall as if they were in our room. The room itself has seen better days and there were large gaps around the door frame. Wifi was super spotty. It snowed and none of the parking spots were shoveled/plowed. Stay away. ||||We had to leave early and the manager was unwilling to reimburse us for the night that we were not going to be staying there.

Positive: Location was good. Quiet despite its proximity to I-5. Front Office staff very congenial. Negative: Our room was on the ground floor. The room had vinyl flooring which was sticky. I wiped up some water and the dirt that ended up on the towel confirmed our thought that we shouldn't be walking barefoot.Other rooms on higher floors had carpet.

Positive: Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Convinient location. Good breakfast. Negative: There was no internet service in our room on both days we stayed. We had to go to the front officelto use the internet. We travelled from canada therefore we relied on the internet to communicate. That was very dissapointing.

Stayed at this location before. Overall the hotel has gone down hill. Floors in the rooms were dirty and sticky. Hot water wasn’t working properly. Dogs barking at 2-4am and lots of doors slamming at this wee hours. Moldy bagels at breakfast. Overall staff was pleasant but doesn’t makeup for the all the issues during our stay.

Positive: Big comfortable rooms and beds. Weve stayed here before. Creek running outside our window but lots of restaurants and stores right next door. Negative: Tile floor in shower not easy to keep clean . Huge shower, massive hot water though.

The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful very professional. This hotel is close to everything. the breakfast room is very big and they have a very nice breakfast. I would definitely recommend Wingate heritage and to my friends and family.
