Wingate by Wyndham St. Louis/Fenton Route 66 - Hotel in Fenton - 1100 S Hwy Dr, USA

Stayed a week for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was for the price of the rooms. Staff was extremely friendly, rooms were clean/well stocked, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby the entire time. One night I walked out without my key or wallet and the front desk staff were so kind as to walk to my room with me and let me in because they knew exactly who I was after just two nights there. It’s hard to find places where you feel genuinely cared about and that’s what I found here. Definitely would recommend!!

Good snacks in the afternoon Negative: this is a non smoking hotel, but us our family members had the smell of smoke in our rooms. When we addressed it with the front desk, they said although it is a non smoking hotel, not everyone follows the rules. I have asthma, this is not acceptable

Very clean and comfortable room. There was a problem with the first room they gave us but they quickly resolved it by switching us to another room. The only issue I had was the breakfast, which was bare bones (toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs), but that’s because Wyndham just took over the hotel and there was no equipment for preparing food. Next week they will have the equipment to start serving a hot breakfast.

Positive: Staff were friendly and helpful. Locale is right off the highway with dining choices nearby. Negative: ?Non-smoking? room definitely has had a past as a smoking room and the smell permeated everything. My clothes reeked. Rooms were tired and outdated.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, I saw that they changed the hotel from Pear Tree and the staff are all great. Tiana the manager was extremely friendly and it’s obvious she trained them well. The rooms were very clean as well. I’m thankful I spent my night there and I can’t wait to come back when I travel through St Louis area again.
