Wingate by Wyndham Pittsburgh/West Mifflin - Hotel in West Mifflin - 1340 Lebanon Church Rd, USA

This is the 3rd worst place I have ever stayed at. The first room I had the other week was just terrible. No tub stopper. No soap supplied at all. The carpets were sticky. I could feel things crawling on me while I was sleeping. They don't do regular room service. You have to ask after the third day. When I did ask after the 3rd day they still didn't do it and when I said something they just handed me a giant pile of towels after which they supported that offering by telling me to take all the old ones and just leave them in the hall on the floor which may or may not be very hygienic. That's up to you. My second stay in the "King Suite" actually came with bar soap at the sink and actually had soap holders in the shower. It just did not actually have any soap in them. Again. The floors are sticky. The AC didn't blow cold and my favorite part of this King suite was the cockroaches. Every time I turn on the light you could see them scurrying. Did I mention that every time I start drinking the coffee here for the first couple days that it gives me horrible indigestion and irregular bowel movements by irregular I mean liquid? And as far as free breakfast goes I would rate it only just above the very bottom few in my list and those were at quarantine time. So take that how you want. To the disinfection cleaning of all of my items and clothing I brought in with me as well as the feeling of needing to be deloused.

Overall, this was a good place to stay. There were a few minor details that I noticed in the room as far as housekeeping. First, the desk in the room was obviously not wiped down (there were a lot of water stains visible), the carpet was not vacuumed properly and the back of the toilet was quite dirty. There was also some mold visible around the tub. However, the bedding was clean and the overall upkeep of the room was good (not a lot of dust, furniture was in good shape, etc.) The staff were first rate! I give them 5 stars! Very friendly, professional and accommodating. Maintenance was also wonderful. We had a slow draining sink and they were very responsive and effective. Breakfast was great! Lots of choices and everything was fresh and delicious! Overall, I give it 4 stars.

Less than adequate. My room had an off smell to it, and I found some trash under the bench. Mold growing on the air conditioner. My coworkers reported one room smelling like wet dog, and the other was given a room that was not cleaned / turned over from previous guest. Breakfast was gross. I spat out the egg patty they served, and the jelly tasted expired. Nowhere walkable. There's a tantalizing Target just down the road but you cannot safely reach it by foot. Desk people were nice and my shower was good, but that's the only positive things I have to say.

Positive: Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Decent wifi and TV selection. Great DOVE bath products. Free breakfast. Ample parking. Older property that has been fairly well refurbished. Close to everything. Great front desk staff. Negative: Rooms are cramped. Sitting chair has zero space between bed and wall. Small bathroom. The only thing that really upsets me is the lack of water pressure. The shower is functional but that's about it. A tad pricey for what it is but a good hotel. Negative: ""

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! Unless you are a crackhead, or you like filth, or you like rooms by the hour! Let me explain…..||||My husband and I were coming to town with our 8 month old! As you see from the pics the promised a crib was avail! Perfect! in this order here is what went down…||1- Check in- Girl was totally drugged out! Rude and when I asked questions she said “cool” can I get the pack and play for my daughter? She replied “nah we don’t have em” showed her the snapshot of my check in showing they had them she said “nah”||||2- Room- BRACE yourself! See pics! The room was left open w the door hinge, we didn’t know why at the but we later found out they turn tricks here!!! Our room was covered in filth! Chips on the floor , semen stains on the bed and fridge , pubes, toilet wasn’t flushed, and soap was used(SEE PICS not making this up!!!)||||3-Door didn’t lock all u needed to do was slide a CC through and u could gain entry||||4- IMMEDIATELY WE called Wyndham who actually didn’t do much other then tell us to wait 10 day! Turned in our keys and said we aren’t staying here! Left and saw 5 gentlemen and another meth head come in and fist bump the front desk girl and continued on to a room without checking in or giving id||DO NOT STAY HERE it isn’t safe at all!

I came in for the airport after a long flight, hopefully to get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I had insects (ants) all over my counter and shower area. I began looking at other areas, including the bed, when i pulled back the sheets (GROSS). Found what looked like a sex stain. So much for cleaning the room. I researched the hotels in the area and was told all booked up for steeler game. I informed staff but was told they were booked. But they managed to exchange rooms. When I left the initial room was still fumigated. WORSE SLEEP EVER

Great staff, especially Ms JoAnn, Leah and Danielle. They do a good job with the breakfast, alternating offerings. Down side: the entire place needs a good deep cleaning. Get rid of the nasty carpeting in the rooms, scrub the floors and invest in decent bed linens and laundry products. If it weren't for the staff this would have been a negative star review.

When we pulled into the parking lot I thought the hotel was abandoned. The outside is overgrown and it doesn’t look anything like the pictures …. When we went inside it didn’t get any better..everything looks like it need a good cleaning and it’s looking worn and a bit beat up. The manager refused to refund our money and took offense to comments that the place didn’t look like the pics. The Springhill down the street was waaaaaaaaay nicer.
