DO NOT STAY HERE for at least 6 months. They are in the middle of a renovation. I was scheduled to stay on 8/30/24. I checked in and I wasn't disturbed that they were working on things. I was staying on the first floor, and the first thing I noticed after I walked pasted the pool was the smell of mildew and a MASSIVE smell of pinesol or something of that nature. It was SO BAD! I got into my room and the smell was just as bad. The pictures on the website did not match what I was receiving in the slightest. I decided I couldn't stay at all. There was just no getting past the smell. I went to the desk and they told me that I would have to call the hotel's website phone number to cancel. When I did, they tried to charge me for the visit since it was past their 24 hour cancellation time. I had to fight to get my refund. The lady on the phone called the front desk that I was standing at, and they had a conversation about the hotel condition. After that, they said they would issue the refund, but it would take 5 business days. Thankfully, I was ok with that. Just to get out of there was what was important. I left the hotel, and 10 minutes later I could still smell the stench of the hotel on my clothes. I never even sat down on the bed, but just standing in there was enough to transfer the smell to me. I can't stress this enough...DO NOT STAY HERE for now. Maybe things will change after the renovation, but who knows. The renovation has to be at least 6 months out from completion. On the positive, the pool looked nice and the lady at the desk did do what she could when they called her. I'm not doing this to bash the hotel. I'm sure they have other fine spots, but this one is a NO GO! Wyndham, you need to report what places are under renovation. This was just lazy and I feel that putting pictures of other hotel's rooms on this website are just predatory. Do better please.

The staff was super nice! The room was very clean. Best pillows I've had in a hotel. The shower was awesome. They have full size soap and shampoo which is awesome! The breakfast was open for 3 hours which was awesome. Pool stays open til 10. Although they are doing full renovations you couldn't even tell. Would definitely stay here again

Just checked in 20 minutes ago and currently looking for a different hotel for my next two nights. I booked this hotel fully aware that it was under construction and I was happy about that. I stayed her when it was sleep inn and swore I would never step foot back inside. I was hoping that since Wyndham owned it now they would at least fix the basic things or not book the rooms that are FULL OF MOLD. As soon as you open the door it's all you can smell. Black mold is visible in the bathroom. The floors are completely wet. Besides it's location the only positive thing about this hotel is the mattress does seem new. But why you would put a brand new mattress in a mold filled room blows my mind. Edit: the very nice woman at the front desk did come back and find a different room for us. This one at least doesn't smell like mold. But it's still not clean.

This place is disgusting and Wyndham should be ashamed that it's open. I certainly will never trust their name being on a hotel again. Most hotel chains close blocks of rooms while doing construction. Also, the place is in such severely dilapidated condition that it shouldn't be open in the first place. Moldy, stained and torn carpets. Chipping paint and stains everywhere. Definitely worried about bed bugs after reading reviews and seeing the place. Shame on Wyndham.

The minute we walked in this hotel, we knew it was a mistake. There were boxes every where in the lobby. Yes the website said they were updating, but this was major construction. I asked the lady at the desk if there was construction by our room. She told us we were on the third floor and they were done except for trim around the carpet. Check in was suppose to be 3:00. It was 3:40 because they said our room was being cleaned. We were asked to wait in the breakfast area. The window , which let you see the pool was filthy and you could see what looked like snot smeared on it in one spot. My husband went and told the lady at the desk that we did not want to stay and she told him we would have to pay a $150 fee. So we were going to stay. We got on the elevator and it was filthy and smelled like glue. When we got to the third floor, the carpet wasn’t even tacked down. You could hear work going on. We got to our room and it was filthy. Light fixture gone. Outlets taken out and not replaced. Dry wall dust on the floor and furniture. The bed was pushed up against the air conditioner so you couldn’t even walk on that side of the bed. We had to borrow and electrical cord. Stains on the bed linens. Then we went in the bathroom. The shower was dirty with drywall dust and other stuff. The shower doors were filthy. And…there was a panty liner stuck on the wall. I told the lady at the desk. She went upstairs and looked at the panty liner and said “well…it doesn’t look like it’s dirty”. She also asked what she can do about the shower. I said “ I don’t know that’s for you to figure out”. She did nothing and left. We went to dinner and decided we were not going to stay. We went back to get our stuff and I told the lady at the desk that we weren’t staying. Her only reply was “you’ll have to pay for the room “. We said we will deal with the higher ups, which has proven to not be an easy task.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING. I didn't and regretted it. I recently stayed at The Wingate Hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding this. There was no notice, explanation, or apology upon our arrival, which set a negative tone for our stay. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The hallways had a faint but unpleasant odor, and there were noticeable dust balls and what appeared to be paint chips on the floor. The first room we were given was a double queen instead of the king we had booked. The bathroom fan didn't work, and the lamp outlet by the bed was too loose to hold a charger. Additionally, the room had a pervasive smell of mold and mildew. Room Change: We requested a room change via the kiosk (as the front desk attendant leaves at 11 PM) and were given a king room. While the bathroom fan worked in this room, the toilet paper holder was coming out of its hole, there were chunks of paint missing in the tub, and mold was visible in the toilet at the water line, indicating a lack of proper cleaning. The mold and mildew smell persisted throughout the room, and the TV settings were incorrect, making it difficult to watch anything properly. The cluster of brown spots on the ceiling appeared to be mold, and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, worse than anything I've experienced in a college dorm. Overall Experience: This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I didn't really expect much out of a quick so to sleep before continuing or road trip . The lack of communication about the ongoing renovations and the absence of an apology or explanation upon arrival were particularly disappointing. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for future guests. My bottom line: I wish I had booked a Super 8 like we normally do.

We just returned from a 2 night stay at your Dublin property. We are very disappointed. There was stained and torn carpeting in the entrance, hallways and rooms. The curtains were torn down. Elevators was not functioning. There was mold on the ceiling of our room that caused an allergic attack. We requested service for our room and all we got was removal of soiled towels but no clean towels were provided, trash was not removed, & no sweeping of the room or bed service was given. There was no ice on property and we were told we could purchase some at one of the local convenience stores. While Linda at the front desk was nice at Check-in, most of the time the front desk and desk phone were unmanned. Trying to enter the property was difficult as well and we ran over a bolt in our corvette. Your notation asked us to ‘pardon the dust’ implying minor repairs were being done. What we saw requires a major overhaul and no one should be staying at this property. It is unsafe and does not even begin to represent the level of quality your company typically offers.

Place is right off of 81 and is super cheap. Right now there’s flooring and construction in the lobby which means they’re renovating but I don’t mind that. We stayed on the second floor and it reeks of chlorine. The floors in the bathroom were mopped but mud was just drug around. There’s hairs left over from previous people. The walls are chipped. Carpets stained. It’s quite gross here however it’s the prices worth.
