we only needed a place to stay for one night after arriving in Charleston - this fit the bill cost-wise so we went with it. There is a free shuttle from the airport, which is great, and the shuttle driver is super friendly. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were also very personable. ||||The room was very dark - maybe too dark. Painted a dark color, with low lighting and only one picture on the wall was slightly depressing. There is a dankness that comes from the high humidity in the South, but they could have mitigated this a bit better. Every Lyft we ordered wanted us to be at the Comfort Inn next door - maybe that was a sign....

This is a dirty hotel in serious need of a remodel. The hallways are dirty. The carpet is dirty. The rooms are dirty. Bathrooms are dirty. The AC unit in our room barely worked. The room was extremely humid, even when the AC was running. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless there were no other rooms available at any other hotel. And even then I might sleep in my car instead of one of these dirty rooms.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was well supplied, the bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. The bathroom & shower were clean, they even provided a few makeup remover wipes! Everything was absolutely lovely!

Stayed here for 2 nights on a road trip, but accidentally booked through a third party. We arrived and found out that the third party had messed up our entire stay, wrong nights, name misspelling, the works. We attempted to change it through the third party, who decided to give me and the hotel staff a hard time about it. Angelique and her team stepped up immediately to not only help us on the phone, but ensure that we got a room for the nights we actually needed, and helped me understand more about the third party and how to deal with them. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms are clean, and best of all the hotel is quiet. Thanks guys!!! Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

The hotel looks a bit worn and outdated overall. The lobby and front is nice but then the hallway carpets were very worn and dirty. The rooms were not bad and seemed overall clean but we did have a lot of dirt and dust behind our bathroom door, that must have been missed when the bathroom door was open. The staff were all nice and helpful. Internet was good and nice TV in the room. The coffee was good and the breakfast was just ok, and there was not a lot there, but we show up for breakfast about 20 to 15 minutes before they closed, so we get it. We only had one elevator that worked and it had a bunch of broken panels on the walls.

Terrible place to stay - rooms are filthy and smell bad; hotel overall makes an unsafe impression. No place to stay with a young toddler. Additionally we were not warned that the shuttle wouldn’t get us to the airport in advance (they stopped the service?) and they refused to give us a refund. It was so bad we chose to take another room at the Hampton Inn across the street the same day. Can only recommend the Hampton inn which comes with a 24/7 shuttle. Do not book this hotel - you will regret it.

So as we checked in and walked to our rooms we noticed a door broken and one elevator broke. Also there was dirt and trash in hallway walking up to room. The beds were nice inside room however there was stains on bathroom door, and the light made a noise the whole time it was on. The shower also looked sketch so we didn't use it. Nice people, great staff however I wouldn't recommend this place with all the other choices available

The view isn't great, but neither is anyone else's here. I will say, though, the rooms look kinda dingy, but the service seems to actually want to do their best. They only had a single person working the front desk, whom they need to give a raise, because he not only managed all of the cards and calls, but the entire entranceway of people getting their rooms. He did a phenomenal job of helping everyone. The place seems to get a lot of people since it's affordable, so i think that's the only reason everything looks kind of worn a little. But they have microwaves and working fridges and a pool. I also tried their coffee which wasn't bad.
