Our stay was comfortable and just what we needed for an overnight on the road north. Traveling with our two fur babies can be challenging finding a welcoming place to stay. There was plenty of grassy areas and potty bag stations which is always a plus. |Staff were very friendly & the breakfast was free & plenty. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. |We will definitely keep this place as a favorite.

So so friendly. Pam at the front desk is the nicest, most caring person ever. Room is very clean. Price is right. Great value. No charge for my dog, which is a plus. Good free breakfast. Cracker Barrel shares a common parking lot so no need to drive anywhere for dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an excellent stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained and provides great service in all aspects with a great staff particularly Ms. Monica The Office Manager, Ms. Chuncee The Breakfast Service Agent and Ms. Pam The Front Desk Agent. They were very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend the Wingate as a great place to stay.

The rooms are very relaxing and comfortable. It's an older hotel so the bathrooms are dated. The AC works amazing !!! The cleaning lady on the first floor was an absolute doll. The ladies at the front desk were phenomenal. The pool is small but refreshing. If I am in the area again for class I would stay here. Only thing I would say is they should put both firm and soft pillows on the beds.

Great stay. The lady that checked us in WAS BEYOND precious and the NICEST lady I have ever checked into a reservation anywhere with. I did not get her name but she worked Friday night 6/28 and Saturday night 6/29. Several people at breakfast the next morning were talking about how nice and sweet she was! We were in town for a softball tournament and had several teammates staying there as well and they all said the same! Wingate needs to give her a raise and do whatever they can to keep her! The lady and the man (again, I did not get their names) who ran the breakfast area on Saturday 6/29 and Sunday 6/30 were beyond nice as well. She wished us safe travels when we left. The rooms were great, clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom was clean. It was a quiet place, and we enjoyed our weekend stay. Will definitely stay here if we are up this way again.

Very convenient location. Super friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast and clean room. My only issue was the mattress was very soft and not to my personal liking

This was our second rest stop for the night on our 3-day road trip and will I say it was great for the low price! You’d expect coming into a wreck of a room for that price. My partner and I only stayed one night, but we enjoyed the experience. Upon arrival at almost 1 AM, we were quickly greeted and handed a keycard. The room was clean and bed was comfy. It was a nice looking room, nothing shady. No bugs. They had Dove products in the bathroom which is perfect for me because that’s what I prefer! No suspicious noises throughout the night. Breakfast was complimentary: Waffles, Bacon, Coffee, etc… My only complaint was the STENCH outside. It smelled like sewage or hot garbage as soon as you left your car or the building. Overall, stay was great. 10/10 would recommend coming here for an affordable stay.

I absolutely loved my stay here. My family enjoyed the conjoined rooms and the beds were really comfortable. Ms. Tessa was an amazing host at the front desk. Very helpful and really friendly. We had the pleasure of seeing her smiling face for 3 straight mornings. I plan to make this my hotel of choice for my next visit to Georgia.
