Wingate by Wyndham Bronx/Haven Park - Hotel in Bronx - 2568 Park Ave, USA

First stay at this location. It looks very clean and modern, inviting and cheery. The staff were nice. But when I checked the linen on the bed there were hairs, smudges and a smell of smoke. I contacted the front desk and they promptly changed the sheets. The shower is really small and slippery with no holding apparatus. What was most surprising is the parking expense. Guests are not informed of the charges when reserving a room. For small cars it's $30; regular $35 and large vehicles $40 PER NIGHT, quite steep. The hallways are semi-dimly lit and for me; it's just a bit apprehensive or made me feel that way. I'll say, you want to go back but for the aforementioned, it's significantly skeptical. The rooms are too close to the elevator; directly in front of the elevators 2.5 feet away.

GEM hiding in the Bronx. Great hotel. Room a little smaller than usual but still very modern and CLEAN!! They do have a restaurant/bar although we just passed by was a whole vibe. Car garage was convenient. Rooftop only open in spring and summer. Oh and pet fee for my 8lbs dog was a non refundable of $180 smh. So needless to say she had to stay w/ Gma. Overall great place and we will be coming back!! Thanks!

Nouvel hôtel situé à l'entrée du Bronx à 2 mns à pied du métro et à 15 mns du centre de Manhattan. Excellent accueil à l'arrivée. Cadre cosy chambres très propres bien équipées. Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner continental bien. Et surtout un personnel d'une grande gentillesse et disponibilité. Quartier plutôt calme mais un supermarché à proximité. Adresse à retenir pour son rapport qualité prix

Séjour agréable dans cet hôtel du Bronx. Personnel accueillant et disponible. Chambres très propres et bien insonorisé malgré la proximité d'un carrefour achalandé. A une coin de rue du métro dans un quartier pas si propre mais sécuritaire. Musique live au resto la fin de semaine un peu forte. Petit déjeuner à améliore mais tout de même ok.

We are from Texas and came in to attend a funeral. This location was perfect for us. The rooms are smaller than I've ever seen but very well kept. Service was excellent. Glad to say, that we didn't see any rats on our strolls to nearby restaurants. I do recommend Giovanni's Italian Restaurant.

So having looked for a reasonable hotel in NYC, we settled for Wingate By Wyndham as it had good reviews and the location right next to the Subway was a main pull. When we arrived we did not expect to receive such a warm and friendly welcome. Joselei was at the front desk and we literally spent 30 mins just talking about random stuff but it was her great personality, smile and helpfulness that made us really feel like we were at home. She took time out every day to ask us how our day was and give us tips on things to do etc. The room itself served its purpose, as we would not be spending too much time in it apart from sleeping. The rooms were clean and we felt safe in the neighbourhood. The hotel is about 3 min walk from 138st Subway and if you take the fast train, you are about 15 min from Times Sq. Joselei is a credit to the company and hope they look after her as she will definitely win over many more customers. We would definitely recommend this hotel because of Joselei and would return in the future.

Everyone who works here is so nice and the hotel is very clean. My favorite part was the water fill station which seems like such a simple thing but it was nice being able to fill our reusable bottles whenever we needed to. Right by a subway station so that was convenient. The rooms are a little small but it wasn’t a big deal since we were really only there to shower and sleep anyway. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel near several Subway stations. Small rooms but reasonably clean. Ok Breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Lobby was extremely noisy at nights with a DJ playing and a cheerful crowd.
