Wine Valley Inn & Cottages - Hotel in Solvang - 1564 Copenhagen Dr, USA

This quaint Danish cottage in the middle of downtown Salvang is amazing. The only complaint was the jacuzzi was so hot I could not use it. However, it was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great free breakfast and shopping just steps away.

This hotel is everything you would want in a Danish town. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast and a friendly staff. This whole town is great and this hotel is quiet but also close to everything. It was also reasonably priced. Also free parking. We were not disappointed and you won’t be either.

Wine Valley Inn & Cottages offered us such a great get-away during New Years. The cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable. We booked the Village Tower King Junior Suite fully furnished with a small living room area that overlooked the beautiful autumn trees outside. Spacious shower with ample shelving space. The cherry on top was the cute little fireplace in our room. Room service was just a text message away and always promptly responded and tended to our requests. The cottages are tucked in such an accessible corner of Solvang with everything within walking distance. I can’t stress enough how lovely this experience was. We will be booking here in the future during our next visit!

Overall a great experience! Room was super cute and clean, though the bathroom sink did not drain properly. Though we did go out for breakfast, we did stop by the breakfast offered at the hotel to scope it out. Tater tots were as hard as a rock and super stale. Got the sense that some of the food was not fresh, but a nice offering especially if you are on the go. Bagels and toast appeared fine. We will definitely be back!

We only stayed for one night but it was an enjoyable experience. The location is excellent and within walking distance to several restaurants, pubs and shops. The customer service was excellent, as well. We ended up with an "accessible" room, so it was very large, which was great. The bathroom was enormous! We also enjoyed having a patio out front and being so close to the reception and breakfast areas. We were able to park right in front of our room, which was helpful because I heard that parking for other areas of the hotel were very full. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus. The only thing that caused me to take away a star was that the hotel did seem a bit dated. Overall, though, it was an excellent stay!

My wife and I stayed her for our first anniversary and it was PERFECT. We absolutely loved every part of the experience. The staff, the food, the room, the look and feel of the building. It was truly the perfect way to spend our weekend in Solvang and I can’t recommend this place enough. We will for sure be going back to stay here again without a doubt. Fantastic.

The hotel is located at the center of everything that goes on, so most attractions are within walking distance. The room is large. The bed so so. The air-conditioning unit is very loud, making sleep difficult. It is located facing the end of the bed, so when the sir flows it changes the temperature of the air above us, which is kind of annoying. The breakfast was satisfactory, and the waitress was very friendly.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a Loft and thought that overall it was a good stay for a holiday getaway around Thanksgiving. Some healthier options at breakfast would have made a big difference. Less greasy, and heavy meats and eggs and more fresher healthier options would have made a big difference. But our room was clean and comfortable and had some great Danish charm. Will stay here again.
