Wow! My stay here exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at *both* chain hotels in Santa Maria, and the experience here was much better. The room was cozy, clean and had a lot of natural light. The view was lovely. The bed was super comfy, and the snack basket was such a kind treat to see after a long drive for a work trip. The bathroom was spacious, the shower had good water pressure. Employees were super kind as well.||My only small complaint has to do with the pillows, they were a bit small especially for a King bed. Everything else was wonderful, and as you can see it wasn't enough of a problem to take even 1 star off! I will be staying here again next time I am in Santa Maria.
I feel bad for not leaving this review sooner, but we had such an incredible stay at the Wine Stone Inn back in early April. We had 1 night away for our anniversary and we were so lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. When we checked in (at the very tiny reception), they said to enjoy a complementary drink at the bar, and right then the live music started playing. They bring us up to our room and it was incredible! It was the front room (I think #12) with views across the street to the beautiful rolling grassy hills. They left us a hand written note with a complementary bottle of wine. The snack box that they leave for all guests was also such a nice little treat. It was a bit windy that day, but a cute little patio to enjoy the wine and views. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. The bar area is where they serve breakfast in the morning and was the perfect start to our day. I had never been to Orcutt before, but I would absolutely go back.
I was super excited to find this gem. So close to the base! I travel here once a month usually for a couple nights. The staff has always been incredible. The bartender Mariah is the best! Great location, amazing staff and quiet, clean rooms.
We flew from Florida to Santa Barbara & stayed at the Wine Stone Inn. Of all the hotels we've stayed in, this one is by far the best one ever . . . from the rooms, appearance, very friendly staff, food and wine. Everything was top notch and they took that extra step to make everything so enjoyable. I just wish we didn't live so far away from there because that would be our go to place. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
Booked this place last minute to go visit a friend for birthday. I was so pleasantly surprised. After long 5 hours on the road, I was welcomed with complimentary beer, room was so cute, clean and they had some snacks for me as well. So happy I found this place would definitely visit again.
Update. As stated to Mariah, your manager, over email: The invoice received will not be sufficient. There is no proof the refund has been processed with the bank. As per my phone conversation with Mariah today, she agreed to contact the company that processes your CC payments and refunds in order to get the reference number for the refund done. If, as stated, the refund has been processed they might have made an error when trying to do it. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Customer service is TERRIBLE. We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. I made the reservation for two rooms with my cc. When checking out I advised the person at the front desk my friend would use her card to pay for her room. They told me that would not be a problem. That they would credit my cc for half of what they had already charged me when I made the reservation. That person told me the office manager Mariah would take care of it and that I would receive the invoice via email which I never did. A month later and I still haven’t received the credit. I have called the hotel about 6 times by now talked to the office manager Mariah, the general manager Jason among other people and they both assured me that their system shows the credit. I even tried to dispute with my cc it but the hotel replied it is valid with an invoice for both rooms under my cc. The hotel has charged us twice for one of the rooms and they aren’t doing anything to correct it.
I recently stayed at the Wine Stone Inn and enjoyed every moment of it!!! Amanda was friendly and helpful and later even served me at the wine bar. She offered suggestions for dinner spots and about who might deliver at the inn. The room was fantastic! So comfy and inviting. The little snack basket was a nice surprise and the welcome glass of wine led to a lovely evening of wine bingo in the bar and a delivery of wonderful Italian food from a nearby spot. All in all a wonderful night/stay! I look forward to a return visit and have raved about my stay to several friends. I may regret sharing this lovely gem, but really wanted others to know how amazing my time there had been.
This is a lovely country inn in Old Town Orcutt. As you get into Old Town you can see how this part of the town how it got its name. But when you reach the Inn it's completely different. This new Inn sits among some older properties. It has only 12 rooms so it is nothing like a large motel. There was both onsite and reserved street parking right next to the inn. Checking in was easy.|When we got to the room we were pleasantly surprised. It was a good size, light, bright and very clean as were the common areas of the inn. |The breakfast was a continental style with fruit, yogurt, pastries and beverages. There was plenty of it as they were always replenishing what was there.|The best part was the staff. Kendall the assistant manager always seemed to be around was pleasant and was always willing to help with any questions we may have had. The bartender, Justin, was also just as pleasant and helpful. the housekeeper was also pleasant and would get what ever you needed.|We had a great stay there.
Love, love this place! So many different types of antiques and collectibles to browse. Gorgeous furniture and decor items too. Plan of spending a good amount of time if you want to see it all!
Such a cute aesthetically pleasing coffee shop! I asked about Kosher certification for their ingredients in drinks, and I was pleased to see most were labeled Kosher on the wrapper. I will come back next time Iâm in Orcutt, CA.
A beautiful park in Santa Maria, ca. We had my uncles services there at a beautiful spit we rented for the day at the park. We were by a beautiful fountain and duck pond , I noticed they have pony rides and pickle ball and playgrounds, plenty of cl
This is a fun little quiet town to spend a casual afternoon. There are plenty of little shops and unique stops along the main road. I got lost in some of the nostalgia. Gardens full of unique flowers and great ideas for recycling materials into art.
They are spiffing it up there in those photos, but now it's all done, and it's very nice!! The store is finished and very nice. Well stocked! Good deals, especially if you are on the app and use it.
