Windswept Motel - Motel in Point Pleasant Beach - 1008 Ocean Ave N, USA

Positive: Very clean. Housekeeping came and cleaned up/made the beds during our stay. Close to beach and boardwalk. Staff was polite and helpful. Quiet area. No rowdiness or late night loud noise. Private beach was nice and very calm and quiet. Negative: Walls are a little thin. We could hear toilets flushing and talking but nothing crazy. TV was small and in a cabinet. Luckily we realized the cabinet doors slid in allowing everyone to view the TV. Internet wasn't great but it was free.

It was amazing. The location is great, very close to the board walk, and the service was phenomenal. They were very friendly and understanding, lastly the rooms are a bit out dated but other than that I would stay here again

Exceptionally clean room and bathroom which made it 5 stars. The decor is a little dated but adds to the charm and quaintness of this old school seaside motel. Very pleasant staff and beach access was very convenient!

Location is great. The rooms are older but they are very clean, cleaner than the rooms we've been staying at with chain hotels. The bed was firm and needs, for me, a gel topper. It was just too hard but I guess that's better than soft and saggy.

I cant say enough good things about this place. This is a late post, but back in January, I had a client meeting off season in Point Pleasant where many hotels were shut down for the winter. I was in a winter storm, a dead cell phone, and nowhere to stay. The owner came out and got me a room for two nights and a charger for my phone. They saved me. The hotel is literally on the sand dune of a gorgeous beach and fun boardwalk. I will certainly be back from Massachusetts with my family during the summer months.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights for our mini vacation and can’t say enough good things about this motel. Staff was very friendly..room was very clean.. and location was perfect. All around a wonderful experience and we will be back.

My extended family and I have been staying at the Windswept since 2018. The staff is phenominal, rooms are clean, its an old time beach place. Listen to the ocean at night and right at the end of the boards. Great all around!!

Edit 8/15/2024: This is now our 2nd year in a row renting out the apartment they have available. Phenomenal front desk staff and their housekeeping team are amazing. I'll never consider staying anywhere else in this town. This was our 5th stay here, and we already have a room booked for a small October trip as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The location is perfect. 3 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the boardwalk (there is a smaller boardwalk connected to the main one right behind the motel). The owners and staff are some of the nicest people you will meet. Housekeeping is always on top of everything and made sure we never ran out of anything we needed. I have only one small gripe, and it has been mentioned in other reviews, but the beds are not very comfortable. They aren't so bad that you can't sleep in them, but they could use an upgrade desperately. Again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else, and this would never keep me from coming back! The prices are competitive, and I always feel like we got what we paid for and more.
