We love staying at the Windsor. The historical ambience, especially in the lobby, is wonderful. The staff is always courteous and accommodating. Micah at the front desk helped us get a room suitable to our needs and Floyd was a complete gentleman in the dining room.

This is my second time staying at this beautiful historic hotel, it has new owners since my last stay years ago. Upon arrival check in was great, they booked us for dinner and were very welcoming. When we got to our room unfortunately after showering before dinner I found that the toilet was broken (wouldn’t flush at all). We called the front desk and Franklin came to check the issue. He informed us that he would do his best to find us a new room (they were almost fully booked) and wow, the only room left was amazing. Really made our little romantic stop in this quaint small town so special. The customer service here was top tier compared to the many hotels we have stayed in over the years. Beds were comfy, rooms felt like home and we love the attention to detail they uphold for the place being historic. My only tiny gripe would be that the shower heads in both rooms desperately need replacing (I know renovations are underway). We tried all three restaurants on site (the pub, rosemary and thyme, little brothers bistro) and they were all great experiences with wonderful food and staff. Ps: No ghosts in sight haha

I really enjoyed this historic hotel. It's what you'd expect from an "old" building, but I love it so much! The lobby was gorgeous and I loved reading the history. It really made you feel like you stepped back 100 years. The front desk gentleman Theodore was the kindest and full of knowledgeable information! We enjoyed the 3rd story balcony (away from the bar) it was quiet and rarely occupied. The only "complaint" but not really, was the loud vehicles at night...I know it's location can't be helped but that's really the only negative thing I could truly think of. We would definitely stay here again and be taken back to a world of elegance and hospitality 🩷

Stayed at the Windsor hotel for a family funeral. They were very accommodating and friendly. We ate the NY strip at Floyd's and it was the best steak I have had in a long time. We had rooms for my son and my 3 grandsons and myself. The rooms are pure luxury and the bedding is so cozy. You just sink into the bed. Also it is a historical place and my family loved exploring everything. We plan on a ghost tour next time. I would give a big 10 for the whole trip. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Lovely historic hotel in downtown Americus. Wonderful service, well equipped, beautifully restored! Nice bar area and patios for relaxing. Close to shops and nice restaurant on site and others nearby. Highly recommend for couples or business.

The pillows were awesome. Fell right to sleep in comfort. The room was clean and the staff were professional and friendly. I always enjoy my stay here. Located in the heart of downtown Americus. Lots of stores and restaurants to choose from. This is the only hotel we choose to come to.

We read reviews before staying and just thought maybe some people are never satisfied so we decided to stay anyway. The building is beautiful. Front desk staff was very nice. Restaurant was good. However, room was sub par. The initial impression upon walking in is very pretty but after looking around not so much. Beds were comfortable and bedding nice. Pillows not great. Carpet appears dirty. Chairs in room scratched and stained. Furniture broken and poorly repaired. Pictures on the wall have something gross on the glass. Mold in shower grout. Also needs to update bathrooms. It was disappointing.

Great historical ambiance with modern convenience. Excellent service, friendly staff, especially manager Franklin. Have stayed here many times but service has improved now. We especially like the 2 room suites. Very nice restaurant on 2nd floor, Rosemary & Thyme.
