The first thing to recognize about this museum is it's huge! There are several separate buildings that comprise the facility. The museum is very diorama focused, organizing its artifacts based on category - for example, there is one cubicle that is just school items from the '80s. Admission is free and there is no charge to visit the annex buildings.
Great museum, takes at least 2 hours. Well worth the stop. Excellent displays, well documented. There are 2 extra barns with cars, tractors, farm implements, etc. They have room displays depicting time periods. For example a '3 room house" with each room setup as if someone lived there.
A very nice little museum! You wouldn't expect to find this around here. Lots of rich history and all original items.
It's really fun and well organized. I love to see old things and how people lived at that time.
First time here, was very interesting and had so much to look at. Definitely a muesum to check out, my kiddos loved it. Lady in the front was very nice
It was one of the coolest places I have ever been to. The history of that place is insane. I hope I get a chance to go back and see all of it.
Lots of history with new pieces added all the time! We loved it. Definitely recommend!
Well worth a visit. The museum is larger than it appears from the front. The staff are quite helpful.

O I had a breakfast burrito. Maybe one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Makes me want to move to the Dumas area. The server looked to be in his 50s or 60s, so I'm thinking he may be have been the owner. He couldn't have been nicer. Anywa
