If you can stay here you will be soooo happy. It's a true Texas property in the country with rolling hills, beautiful trees. You've got a wrap around covered porch, plenty of sitting areas and different areas for either big fire pit or small intimate fires. Hot tub hidden away but can see the beautiful sky.|You will not want to leave, the bed and bedding sooo comfortable. I had to make myself get up to enjoy the rest of the home and property.|The owners are so sweet, available and accommodating. I can't say enough. We live an hour away and love coming here as a relaxing get away from city life. They also have a great covered patio area. If it rains on the metal roof,.it's heaven. Just can't say enough about this place. Winery two minutes away next door almost, town is a beautiful country drive not far. Bring your food, the kitchen has everything you need, or grill like we did. You can completely unwind and relax. Had a great fire on the covered patio. During day, hike and walk or use their bikes. Or nap on the day bed or hammock. In summer they have a pool as well. The little ponies and goats are friendly and so adorable. It was so hard to leave this place. Oh and the tubs in both bathrooms are beautiful! They have it all! Views all around. This review is all over the place because too many good things I don't want to forget but im sure i did!. And again, the owners are amazing❤️|It's also on the iconic Texas Bluebonnet trail. Book way in advance!

Beautiful place 5 acres, mini horses, burrow and goats. Has hot tub a porch swing that's as big as a twin size bed. A creek, hammock. Everything in house is fully equipped, easy to locate. I had a magnificent time there

This place is magical! We had such an amazing time. It was so much fun to feed the horses, miniature horses, donkeys and goats and to get the fresh eggs from the chickens. We loved siting on the huge porch swing or around the campfire. Everything you might need was provided and the owners are very nice and made us feel at home. There are several beautiful areas to sit and relax and you feel that the hosts are truly taking care of their BnB with love. It's relaxing, romantic, exciting, away from it all and still so close to Dallas Downtown.Just perfect for our 2 week stay with our 3 year old son.

My wife and I were looking for a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Boy did we find the perfect place... That place was Winding Ridge Bed and Breakfast in Ennis, Texas! So we scooped up our 2 doxies, went by and got my sister and her pup and in less than an hour and a half, arrived at our destination. There we found a retreat in the middle of God's country, surrounded by bluebonnets, rolling hills, beautiful starlit skies, all within a few minutes of some wonderful places to eat! Our rustic B&B, beautifully decorated by Delinda and Charles, provided everything we could ask for and more. It is surrounded by a covered porch with a bed swing where we watched beautiful sunsets each evening. The large gated covered patio was perfect for our dogs to romp and play. There's also a hot tub, a swing hanging from a 200 year old oak tree, horses that eat out of your hand, bikes to ride, games to play. I'm not sure who had more fun - our dogs who ran all over the 22 acres or us! Winding Ridge owners, Delinda and Charles were delightful and accommodating in every way, and provided us with lots of recommendations for downtown Ennis. We've already talked our kids into bringing the grandkids (and hopefully us!) We highly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast.

This place is great! I just wish we could've stayed longer. We were there when the bluebonnets were blooming which made it even more spectacular! We got to feed the horses, donkeys and goats! Delinda had all the necessities for our stay overnight. The beds were so comfortable and accommodations so relaxing. Sitting on the covered back patio and watching the sunset on west patio was beautiful. If you want to get away from the big city, you will love this place.

My husband and I were traveling from the Houston area to N. Texas and wanted to break up the trip and I just happened upon the Winding Ridge B&B on trip advisor and so thankful that I did. It was an amazing stay even in the heat of the Texas summer. The house is beautifully decorated and has every amenity you could possibly need. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, drinking coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, and the peaceful Texas countryside. We will definitely stay here again hopefully in the spring since it is located on the Texas Bluebonnet trail. Everything about this a place was perfect. Nice quiet get away. Delinda and Carlos were sooo inviting and wanted to make sure we really enjoyed our stay. The beds are rediculously comfortable, very hard to leave! Big beautiful property to roam around. We spent most of our time on West facing. Patio on. The outside hanging day bed and got a great sunset.||Will be back for sure and can't wait! Also this place is. In. Middle of bluebonnets trail.and they were just starting to pop up when we were there. Gorgeous

We were 2 couples with 4 kids under 10. This venue was amazing. The adults love the quiet relaxed feel with a winery within walking distance. The kids loved the the animals and pool. No one wanted to leave after our 3 day stay. ||||I would stop at a grocery store before getting here so you don't have to spend time driving back and forth. I would be sure to buy carrots for the horses, s'mores supplies, and steak for the grill.||||A special note: one of the kids got a fever and the owner had an extra thermometer that she shared at 10pm. She showed us that she really cared and was committed to us having a great time
