I was in Vero on a business trip when a friend recommended the resort restaurant. I forgot there was a Disney resort in Vero!
I came in for a late dinner. The service was great, as was everything I ordered.
I had the Apple Bibb salad and the shrimp and grits. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the shrimp and grits looked as good as it tasted. I told the server that was probably the best shrimp and grits I have ever had.
I will definitely be back next time I'm in Vero. I hear their brunch is amazing!
Why is this place not ON A WAIT here at 9 AM for bfast??!! The food's AMAZING. We ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were perfect in every way! The grits are crazy good!
The atmosphere here is incredible, but the best part of the place (aside from the food) was our server, Muriel. She was friendly and helpful, always ready with refills and sparkling conversation, but at the same time, she gave us plenty of space. She is definitely a professional in every way :-}
When staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort (which we also highly recommend!), don't pass over this excellent dining opportunity. Seems everyone wants to come at dinner, but please don't overlook the hidden gem that is b'fast!!
When you come in, ask for Muriel. Tell her Josh n Dann sent you!
While the service and the atmosphere was great, the two dishes we tried were only OK. The roasted chicken was a pressed portion served with two “corn cakes” (fried polenta) served on a bed of wilted greens and creamy balsamic onions. It was delicious but could have done without the onions. The burger on the other hand came with everything loaded on it including barbecued pork belly, cole slaw and an onion ring. The pork belly had too much of a sweet - smoky flavor and did not go with the burger. On top of that it was hard and overdone (shown in picture.) We had to remove it to be able to enjoy the otherwise delicious burger. I would still recommend the restaurant and would try it again.
Wind & Waves Grill is the main dining venue at Disney’s Vero Beach resort and serves both breakfast and lunch.
Since this is the main place to eat at the resort, I highly recommend that you make reservations via Open Table. We made reservations for both dinner and breakfast.
The menu isn’t large, but it has a decent selection. There are daily specials that usually include a pizza of the day, a steak, a seafood dish and a plant based dish. There are also daily breakfast specials.
We ate both dinner and breakfast here several times during our weekend stay. For dinner, a few things we tried were the wood fired pizzas, which weren’t bad, the Oak Grilled Filet Mignon, this steak wasn’t bad, we still think the best Filet we have had is the Black Pepper Filet on the Disney Wish, the fish and chips, which we also thought were OK. They were made from Mahi, and while Mahi is a good fish, the ideal fish to us for fish and chips is cod or haddock. Our two favorite dinner items were the Vero Beach burger (which was huge), and the Bibb Lettuce Apple salad. Dinner included house made Hawaiian rolls and cornbread.
We enjoyed the breakfast at the Wind & Waves Grill much more. My favorite item was the Biscuit Duo. This was 2 biscuit sandwiches with your choice of side. My wife tried the strawberry and banana french toast, which was the special of the day, as well as the “make your own omelette”. We never got to try it, but the stuffed key lime Mickey Waffles looked amazing.
Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Prices were as expected for a Disney resort. The filet was around $39 for example. Breakfast was actually much cheaper than I expected.
Overall this venue is a nice restaurant.
For quick service, you can go around the corner to the Wind & Waves Market for sandwiches, nachos, dole whip, churros and more.
Had both breakfast and dinner at Wind and Waves over the last few days. Both are excellent. The breakfast has a bit limited menu but just ask for a little flexibility and they are happy to accommodate. Dinner was excellent with beef Filet as a special. Cooked to rare perfection, it’s usually hard to get even the best restaurant to hit it just right. They did!! Nice seasoning with a moist, red center as I requested. Fresh green beans and “loaded” mashed potatoes rounded out the plate. Atmosphere allows a close watch on the various chefs in the kitchen and the fire grill.
Have eaten several times here and they are always top rate.
Celebrated our 59 th Anniversary at the resort. First up to Green Cabin for Cocktails & then down to wind & Waves for a wonderful dinner. Our server Amy was a delight, the food was delicious & even gave us buttons & a beautiful dessert. Can’t beat Disney Vero for a fun day. We ve spent many times at Disneys parks & they all are Fabulous & do welcome you home
This little hidden gem is fantastic. Food was served hot and beautifully plated. Just the right amount of seasoning on everything, also. Our server, Kate, was so accommodating. She took care of us so well, and our 9 year old was even happy.
Great service, delicious food, and the prices are good for the amount of food. I had the Campfire French toast.

If you're looking for a delicious breakfast accompanied by the classic charm of an old-fashioned hotel-style restaurant, then this crepe place is undoubtedly one of the best spots in town.

My favorite Antique Mall! Vendors price things accordingly. Some Vendors need to fix their areas so people can walk through their booths. No one wants to get stuck at a dead end. If I can't walk through, I walk by. Lost sales for you.
