Very calm and quiet place to kayak fish. Lots of great spots to look for giants. Unfortunately no big ones today but it was well worth the trip.
Kayaked here on a chilly day. Boat launch area is rocky for a kayak. On return be careful not to drift to left where water drains out of the lake. Wind and waves can make this lake a challenge; best to go on a calm day. Also note there's a sand bar extending well into the middle of the lake.
Good place to catch a fish, drove an hour to get here! I will say though that the gps had tried to take me on a private drive which was confusing, overall hard to find a way in, but ended up just fishing near a boat launch.
It's a beautiful lake to spend one or two hours... Suitable for kayaks, canoes and so on...
Nice place for fishing on my kayak , and yes look out for submerged tree stump..
Very nice Connecticut Lake. Was a bit too windy after day for the kayak.
Beautiful claiming place. Lived here for 20 year, I prefer to wait till everyone goes home for the day to venture out. Sunrises and sunsets and absolutely beautiful

Very well done museum. Displays and information provided explained very well complicated law. This musuem is inside and old bank and the building itself is beautiful inside. Plenty of parking. Easily located.

1 stuffed jumbo Shrimp w drawn butter as a side smile .Ginger Orange Sole over rice w green beans. And... Grilled 2"bone-in pork chop w grilled smashed potatoes and home made apple sauce. Delicious meals served with care in a family setting.
