I thought it was a neat store to check out. They had lots of cool beer steins. As a glazier I had to take a pic of the entrance which has one of the biggest pieces of glass I've ever seen installed in a frame.
This is a wonderful place if you love antiques! The staff are so friendly! But go early and take the day, there are so many things to look at one trip will not be enough! I am super happy with my uranium glass tea cup and saucer for displaying! Thank you!
First of all 3 of us walked in and not one person greeted at all. We were looking at a booth with a ton of awesome jewelry about 15 feet from where 3 workers stood. They were loudly talking down about both customers and vendors that sell in their store. It was a male and 2 older females. It was very awkward to hear what they were saying too. After 10 minutes of looking we asked for help with the jewelry and the man came over. He was not at all helpful finding anything. So we decided to move on. Walked around some more on the first floor and when I got up to the counter where the pricier jewelry is encased and check out is. I was clearly looking but the old lady sat at the computer with her back to me playing solitaire. Didn’t even acknowledge me one time. It felt like we were interrupting their lil gossip fest and making them work. Coming from lower Michigan we have many of the same antiques at a much lower cost too. And far superior customer service than this place. If I were a vendor here I would pull my stuff out and sell elsewhere. The staff is zero help to the customers, talks poorly about customers and vendors in front of customers and the prices are waaaay too high. I was very disappointed, sadly. The others I went with all felt the same way.
This place is huge! It's several stories and just full of so much stuff. It was a lot of fun to look around, but this place is a destination in and of itself. You can spend a whole day here! Well, at least an afternoon. The prices seemed a bit high for some of the items, and I'm not sure if prices are negotiable or not.
This store has two locations. I did not know that. I thought I was returning to the same store I visited three weeks ago. Ha! This location is downtown. This location has four levels! I think the prices are a bit higher at this location. It definitely has more jewelry. There is a large selection of dragons in the lower level. This is an excellent stop to shop or just browse while in TraverseCity. .
A little hard to navigate, but what else could you expect from such an absolute treasure trove of antiques spanning countries, continents and centuries.
WOW! Get ready to spend a few hours here! They have 4 floors packed with trinkets and treasures. Their vendors who have booths have a variety, so you most likely not get out of there with the money you came in with.
Super over priced, we came up from the lower part of michigan and we have a lot of the same pieces back home that are MUCH cheaper. Weird sign when you walk in says "no inflation here" yeah because they already hiked there prices up for the next 10 years. Staff also was really disorganized.

Edit: I was mistaken as the owner noted and updated my single 4/5 segment to 5/5. We incorrectly assumed having our boxed dessert and bill paid that our food had not been saved and we didnât want to cause a fuss in front of others or seem to be ask
