No running cold water in the shared bathroom which was grubby and outdated. Major cracks on the terrace floors and only one clean towel from a Sunday arrival to Saturday Departure. No-one on reception only phone numbers ..not even visiting times and a manager lacking in hospitality skills. Grubby dirty doors and filthy curtains more staying at a ghetto type motel. Broken and dirty sit out chairs. Uncared for. The price shouldn't be an excuse for the cleanliness and upkeep as in comparison prices are very high elsewhere in LA. The good points were the room was spacious with a nice view of the street outside. A fridge microwave and a fan were available with no air conditioning as advertised. It had mosquito nets over the windows which was good. The wardrobe was wooden and really old. Cracks on the blocked up fireplace and paint splashes on the carpet. The bathroom was the worst thing about this place. No running cold water from the tap only hot water which I found was too hot and generally a dirty grubby small bathroom. It's close to the Art museum and Acedemy of Motion pictures aswell as a great coffee shop called 'Cafe' which is near the Famers Market. So all in all, apart from the reasonable price for LA this hotel/motel is in dire need of a makeover and is definitely not to be recommended
Mad angry manager scares you to say anything! Dusty all over ! dirty drawers and closet space. disgusting coffee maker , refrigerator dirty and dusty. and the manger was UPSET when I HAD TAKEN A TOWEL to dust the areas to put the luggeses down. family sent the maid and brought soap and cloths to clean just the room and the bathroom with our own money. lovely area. THERE IS NOT A DAILY manager . the office is open based on you calling and leaving a voicemail and then. It is sad , a lovely place with tons of potential. Do you think we are entitled to a credit for using only 2/3rd of the room? we made it work.. who has time to look for another place on high holidays !! lol
Pros: Great location in the Mid-Wilshire area. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The price of the hotel was reasonable.
Cons: The hotel is an apartment complex that needs major repairs all around. I saw a document on the door that the City left, citing major repairs need to be done by a deadline or else...
According to the TripAdvisor website ad for that hotel, "Free public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not needed)." Yeah, right, three or four 2-hour parking spots in front of the hotel which were all taken when I arrived. No manager on site and it took me a while to get in touch with him. He said that I 'might' be able to found a 10-hour spot on one of the nearby streets. That's exactly what I wanted to do on a hot day and after driving for hours. Parking was very important for me that's why I made a reservation at the Wilshire Orange Hotel. It seemed like the manager didn't even care that I don't have a place to park and got somewhat annoyed when I asked where should I park my car.||The hotel also looks a little different than on the Tripadvisor's website pic. All the paint is peeling off. And the smell was overwhelming, I started feeling nauseous after the first 5 minutes I spent there. You know that old buildings' plumbing smell, maybe they can't do anything about it but still. I had to cancel my reservation for 4 weeks at this place and look for something else in a hurry. I am glad that I didn't stay even after they charged me $69 for the cancellation.
I paid in full through Priceline. The next day, I went to the room and nobody was on site. The exterior and hallway were worn, musty, and bad enough to raise my alertness. After several calls, a manager answered and agreed to show me the property in the afternoon. When we finally met, he was rather suspiciously hesitant to show me the room. When I finally got inside the room, I was shocked. There were blood stains and bugs on bed. Black stains, possibly from mold and/or water damage were on the wooden floor. The furniture was cover in a layer of dust. The moment I ruffled a curtain, dust flew up everywhere. But what was the probably the worst was the smell. It was very musty and stale. There is no A/C. When I arrived, the windows had already been opened. The house is right next to a busy street. Inside the middle of the city, how can you sleep with all windows open? I requested a cancellation right away but the Manager only agreed to give half back. He insisted to charge me three days.
I wish I could give 0 stars.
A complete DISASTER. First of all this is not an hotel as the word “hotel” does not appear in front. Then it seems completely abandoned, nobody comes here. The reception is basically empty most of time, so whatever happens nobody can come quickly to help you.
And the rooms? Horrible! Smells like urine and lot of dust around. I saw 2 rooms, one had a huge weak window on the street, which can be destroyed by anyone. The other had several broken wires around, so it is extremely dangerous.
I had to run away, despite paying an expensive cancellation fee. Please don’t come here!

I was excited to stay here after watching Silicon Valley's season 1 / last episode. Overall, it's a pleasant stay at the hotel and I like the hotel bar but the rooms and hotel decor are on the more dated side. Not my top choice of hotels but pleasant stay overall.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and the bedding was incredibly comfy! Loved the free coffee & pastries each morning. If you have a car, the secure parking is so worth it & made us fee

I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
